Given how this whole thing has gone so far, probably not. Which sucks. I was scheduled originally for the second week of production.I bet everyone that was scheduled will see this. So do we keep priority when scheduling resumes?
That was pretty obvious. Everyone knows with the strike going on the build date is "pending" no matter what they tried to update in the system.I used ford's chat feature. They said pending build date. I was originally scheduled on 9/9
I think what’s probably the most upsetting now, though is that for the people that were scheduled, it was getting pushed out but the build order seemed to be somewhat preserved. Now, the fear is that everyone’s back in the hat to be drawn again. So guys that were scheduled to be one of the first orders to roll out could now be anywhere in line at this point. That was pretty obvious. right, thats what I'm afraid of. I have no problem waiting but come April if the new Tacoma Pro/Trailhunter is out I will look at one of them. I want a new truck by next year. I want the Raptor because I think it's the best looking truck but I have no issues with a Taco since that's what I currently have.I think what’s probably the most upsetting now, though is that for the people that were scheduled, it was getting pushed out but the build order seemed to be somewhat preserved. Yes, that would suck, but I have a hard time believing Ford will screw over their customers that badly. If they do, there are a lot of people that will just buy a Taco or a GM, myself included. I really wanted a truck this year, but was willing to wait for the one I want most. As long as I stay scheduled, which I think we all will, then I will wait for the Raptor.I think what’s probably the most upsetting now, though is that for the people that were scheduled, it was getting pushed out but the build order seemed to be somewhat preserved. As much as I hate to say it, since I’ve been outspoken here about being patient, but I’m swinging by the GMC dealership on Monday. There are a few AT4X’s still available and if I fall in love with it, I’m pulling the trigger. I can’t extend my company car lease indefinitely, so I’m up against a wall. F-150 is also on the table but I don’t think my budget will let me get one specc’ed the way I’d want it. I have a problem being one of the dozen XLT F-150’s I see on my morning commute. I prefer something more unique. Tacomas and 4Runners are on a wait list at every dealer in the city. Last resort would be a 23 Explorer ST but they’ve been in a parking lot in Chicago getting camera replacements and since that plant is shut down those will be rare, too. Don’t see any Broncos around either but I’d take a Wildtrak or Outer Banks with Sasquatch as well.Yes, that would suck, but I have a hard time believing Ford will screw over their customers that badly. Wish in one hand, s*** in the other. See which fills up first. That's what this process feels like.I ordered mine on May 26th & played the retail, stock & back to retail bullshit. I’ve had to sit here & watch people that ordered way after I did get scheduled while I have yet to be. Sitting here reading everyone saying how this will suck & blah blah blah reminds me of Bruce Willis saying “Welcome to the party pal”!! Lol???
