First I want to say thank you to this forum and the participants here. I have learned so much during this ordering process that I never knew existed. I was able to track my new truck build all the way from build date to dealership.
Second, let me just say, this new Ranger kicks ass. This truck rides like a dream (for a truck). It handles the road very well and it has enough power to sit you back in the seat. My previous 2010 Ranger had a V6 with 205hp, and was no where near as peppy as this baby. There is so much tech on it, I am sure I will learn something new every time I drive it. I LOVE IT!
Third, I know just getting your truck has been a point of issue for many of you and I am sorry you have had to deal with that. I am pretty sure I would not have that same patience. I would have probably moved on to something else. Fortunately, my timeline was even a surprise to my dealership. For your reading and comparing pleasure, this is how the entire process went:

- 2-29-2024 Placed Order with Dealer (received email with order number that day)
- 3-21 Email received with Order Build Date of week of 5-6
- 4-16 Email received with updated Order Build Date of week of 4-22
- 4-20 Able to see Window Sticker with assigned blend date of 4-27
- 4-30 Tracker showed In Production date of 4-29
- 5-7 Tracker showed Built date of 5-6 (Spray in Bedliner)
- 5-7 Tracker indicator (green dot) moved back to Order Confirmed with all dates still populated
- 5-8 Tracker showed shipped 5-7
- Got Railcar number from Ford Chat to track CSX train from Michigan to Kentucky
- 5-7 Loaded on Train in Wayne, Michigan
- 5-8 Stopped in Walbridge, Ohio
- 5-10 (4:33pm et) Departed Walbridge, Ohio
- 5-11 (12 noon et) Arrived Louisville- code PCON- (means rail car to the ramp but it’s waiting for another car to be unloaded before it can be parked to unload)
- 5-14 (5:10am) actual placement (your rail car is parked at a ramp and available to unload)
- 5-14 (3:40pm) RMTY (truck on the rail yard grounds)
- 5-15 (4:30pm) tracker updated to final prep
- 5-15 (5pm) Received text from dealership about truck arrival
- 5-16 Picked up my 2024 Ranger Lariat - Velocity Blue Metallic
