2024 Ranger Scheduling This Week (8/15/24) for Production Weeks 9/30 - 10/28

Theres about 650 total unscheduled rangers currently, they dont seem to break out Raptor specific orders. Ranger order banks in general close end of month, Raptors closed beginning of this month. 25 announcement is in 2 weeks or so. Once they close standard Ranger orders, we will see the balance out. December they wont really build anything and with current scheduling in October it will be tight.

Its up in the air if people are going to get a private offer for 25s. ive heard Ford isnt doing that any more but we will see when the Balance out comes.

you say private offer for 25 models.. in the past did ford offer to build the new MY vehicle for the same price as current MY order msrp or do they just offer basically first dibs for the new model at the new msrp? Assuming it’s the latter

Great info, thanks for posting. Does this report mean that any orders placed after 8/15 (for production 9/30 to 10/28) would not make it into the prior production run of 9/2 to 9/23? Or is it more fluid based on orders and matching component availability for a given order? I placed my Lariat order 8/12 and wondering if it may make it into the September run. If not, considering the 'Raptor only' build 9/30 to 10/28, I'm looking at November build at the earliest.

One other thing, what happens 9/24 to 9/29, these days aren't in the report posted 7/25, or the most recent.

Bunch of factors that go into how things get scheduled. Your dealer needs an allotment, and you need a priority code. Lower the code the better in general, should be between 9-19. Ford takes the lowest priority codes from the entire order bank when they pick what to build. Priority codes are specifically controlled by your dealer and can be changed.

Various options will increase or lower the likely hood of build regardless of allotment and priority code.

In order of importance:
1. Dealer has an allocation for the vehicle.
2. Low priority code.
3. Options selected, since they wont build trucks they dont have the available parts for even if 1 and 2 are in good standing.

From what I understand historically, they use to give a private offer for orders not built. Which would be a lower MSRP if the MSRP went up. Unsure what they did if the MSRP didnt go up that year. I do not know if private offers get a higher 1-8 priority code once redeemed.

Ordered my RR in the last week of July (7/27) with my local dealership, and they set a priority code of 19. After going through this thread and other posts on this forum, got them to change it to a 3 today.

Since 8/15 was the last 'scheduling' day for RRs, will this change even matter?

P.S - I haven't gotten any emails from Ford regarding my RR being scheduled for Production.

Nice that they moved it to a 3. You just need to wait now. You wont get any notification until ford schedules it. You should be ok, though note if you had the bead lock wheels that may be an issue as they are limited currently.

And yes they had an abundance of allocations.

So, Raptor allocations dont come in abundance and are separate from Ranger allocations. Looks like you said code 3, so you should be good, just wait now.

Thank you! And I should say they had several allocations. My wife already has one and after driving it I immediately wanted one. So when I ordered mine, there was no hesitaion. Just a difference from what I'm feeling on here about others talking about it, that's all. They aren't the biggest dealer but they move alot of vehicles. Thanks again my friend!

Code 3 doesn't mean anything without allocations. Mine is code 3.
