I’m aware they’re only beadlock capable wheels and more of a beauty ring. Note / I plan to only mall crawl with the Raptor Ranger.

Early (and somewhat surprising) lead for team deadlock wheels.

I don’t hate the beadlock but for almost the price of the beadlock capable wheel option I was able to order a full 5 piece set and have my old wheels to put winter tires on if needed.
KO3s are 3 peak M&S rated. Any reason you are switching to a different tire for the winter?

Not planning on doing it now, but nice to have an option when they wear out and it’s time to replace them. Plus I’ve never had KOs on my trucks so waiting to see how they do.

I'm going to run the KO3s this winter myself and see how they perform. Had KO2s before on a 4runner and they were good first season, decent second and then worthless in true winter conditions. Hoping they redesign is better, they are supposed to be better in snow and more durability, but that's yet to be proven.

I plan to run my bead lock capable wheels with the KO3s through winter months (replace when necessary with some Hakkas), and next spring I'll decide on some wheels and tires for the other 6 months of the year.

In regard to the poll - I ordered with standard wheels, bailed on the order and ended up with the bead capable wheels. I'd prefer the standard for weight savings, but the bead ring does suit the RR.

The BL wheels are butt ugly IMHO, are very prone to damage and corrosion, and the trim rings and screws alone are almost 5 pounds PER WHEEL. That is a crazy amount of unsprung weight. I removed my trim rings and mounted Hakka LT3 snow tires on the wheels, I am now using Bronco takeoff wheels for the rest of the year.

Wow, I didn't realize the rings were that heavy!! That's surprising to me. Are they super thick? I haven't had a reason to take mine off.

I didn't need beadlock wheels. When I'm ready for something more capable, I'll likely be going with one of Method's bead grip offerings. So far I've never had any need to dip below 30psi for trails, and that was more for comfort than traction. The KO3s are pretty darn good, or I'm just really good at picking my lines (famous last words).

I like the idea of using bronco take offs for winter tires as well, and the ones John posted don't look bad at all.

They are aluminum and pretty thick, and do have some weight to them along with required TP40 bolts (12) per wheel. Guessing John weighed his.

I understand some do, but I have almost zero use for beadlock. The wheels are ugly with them, so there's no way I'm paying for an option I'll never use.

The standard wheels look like some cheapos you would order from Tire Rack. The bead lock wheels are much better looking and accent the truck nicely for those that ordered the best color ?
That was personally my opinion too. What’s the best color?

Seems like I should be carrying a TP40 bit in my car in the event I ever have to replace the wheel?
