Congrats! Looks just like the truck I ordered and gave up on due to delays. VBM is a great color!

I have never heard of this before. I was thinking the site was kind of "scammy" asking for all your information just to find an installer. But after some googling, I would have done this over the ceramic. Will probably look into this in a year or 2. Thank you.
The ceramic coatings look beautiful. Having just purchased a 24 Ranger Raptor, I started poking around and saw some negative experiences with iconrocklear

Nice look for that truck. By the way if you're removing the OEM running boards to install rock sliders, just keep in mind you may get way more rock chips in your paint depending on the dimensions of your rock sliders. People in this forum have found out the hard way.

Can you give us some information and/or links to where you're getting your information from? Because the guy that's putting mine on has me convinced that this stuff is the best. I've even seen some exotic vehicles that he's worked on that are very expensive, he does 'em all the time. He said that's why the company NOW guarantees it for 15 years. Im not doubting you, I just want facts.

See the Reddit link in post above. Doubtful this will be everyone’s experience but helpful to understand this might not always work as planned. Sounds like you have someone good pls post pics when done would love to see and hear about it

Ah, now I see. I thought that was an ad the first time I saw in here and never read it. Thanks for enlightening me. I'll definitely present this to my guy. Because I'm sure he'll be on the up and up with me and in the end, I think my wife and I will end up using our gut feeling. Maybe we will just stick with our regular paint in the end. My brother' has a 98 white ranger, and his paint still shines.

I did more poking around and found a bunch of naysayers that are being accused of spreading disinformation about IconRocklear to protect their ceramic product, and then a bunch people testifying how good IconRocklear is and they're being accused of spreadidind misinformation to promote their product Iconrocklear. So who knows ? Im going to do a couple surprise visits to the place I'm dealing right now to investigate more before I make this big of decision. If we end up getting it done I will post an HONEST review with pictures.
Here is a link from Iconrocklear that trys to explain all the logic to this. Take it for what it is. The jury is still out for me but my guy does, ceramic, Iconrocklear, and the expensive wrap, whatever it's called. They've been in business a long time.

Hello Everyone,

Just wanted to introduce myself. I purchased this beautiful truck in July and just getting time to post. I was trying to decide between the Raptor and the Colorado Bison. I was coming from a 2016 Colorado Z71. I got to drive a Bison in early April and was waiting to drive the Raptor before I made the decision. Well my brother in law is a salesman and he called me one day out of the blue and said they were getting another Raptor in that day that wasn't spoken for yet. I said I'll be there in an hour and when I drove it, there was no decision anymore and I bought it right there. I only had one reservation when he called me and it was the side graphic. I usually hate them, but to be honest, it makes the bed look more proportional to me, so I am keeping it.

Mods so far:
Ceramic coated
Tinted front 2 windows
Screen protector, amazing for fingerprints
Vinyl graphics, outline on front and R on rear, from Rocky Mountain Graphics
Bak Revolver X4S bed cover
Trailing arm sensor guard from Buckle Up Off Road
Mickey Thompson Baja Legend MTZs (stock size 285/70/17)
Weather Tech mats ordered

Wish List:
Sealing the bed from dust and water
In-channel rain guards when someone releases a set that fits
Rock sliders when I find a set I like that are frame mounted
Light bar, still undecided
Ditch lights, still undecided
Chase lights, still undecided

How come you went from K03 to Mickey Thompson Baja tires? I believe they’re slightly thinner but taller?

The change had nothing to do with size. I've had KO2s on my last truck from the factory and they were horrible in wet and completely useless in snow. I changed to the Mickey Thompson Baja tires and they were amazing in wet, snow, and offroad. I gave the KO3s a chance but after the first rain, they handled just like the KO2s (in my opinion). This is the first time I have purchased the baja legends and they perform as good as the previous bajas but to be honest, they are a little quiet for my taste. Hoping they get louder as they wear as the past bajas did.

I live in Florida so not great to hear about KO3 in wet performance. Regarding the MT: Why don’t you want your tires to be quiet?

Hello there, welcome to the forum. Below is my first post about these tires, and the second is my updated version of the tires. The second post is only a one time deal. It happened to me once, so I'm not saying it's gonna be that way all the time. But let me tell you, It felt so great, I couldn't believe how perfect the truck drove. That was my truck in those conditions on that particular day, so I'm not guaranteeing you this will be that way for every occasion or for you. You just have to be careful in the wet weather, not to let 'em break loose. "Any" off road tire sucks on the road. If anyone tells you different, ignore them. These are all right tires, just get used to 'em and drive with them within their limits. And you'll have fun. I live where there's snow, so they are more fun and almost needed for me. If you're just driving along doing the right thing, I think everything's gonna be fine with them.

1st post

Mine felt like it could get out from under me when I was driving down the highway in about 75 miles per hour in the rain. Going around big curves I felt like the back end could have gave out on me. I never thought about putting it in the rain/snow mode until I just read the previous post, thanks. I'll definitely be sticking with these for my next set though because the good outweigh the bad with BF Goodrich, in my opinion. Going by many sets of them on my jeeps in the past.

2nd post
Update. Drove this beast in a heavy downpour but this time I remebered to put it in slippery mode (4A). Wow! I will have to say this is the most stable vehicle I have ever driven. I was doing 55 and I stomped on it and shot up to 80 real quick (obviously with these right, I wasn't anticipating it getting to that speed that quick) and I could feel the power in all 4 wheels and the vehicle held to the pavement and went perfectly straight. Couldn't belive it. I wouldn't recommend doing this (there were no vehicles near me when I did this test) unless you like to have fun once in a while like me, but it worked perfectly. Never felt power in all 4 wheels on any 4 wheel drive or all wheel drive like this. I never stop smiling when I'm driving this beast. Thanks again FoMoCo!!!!!!!

This is a good example for "why" I changed them. (just my opinion and everyone is different)

When I drive my truck, I turn all the nanny crap off, including traction and stability control. There is no reason (again, just my opinion) I should have to drive in 4 wheel drive in rain to keep the tires from spinning or sliding on a turn. If the tires require you to drive in "slippery" mode the tires are not doing their job. With the MTs I can drive in 2 wheel drive, traction and stability control off and I have no slipping or sliding issue. That being said, if I want to spin the tires or slide the ass end out, it's real easy. But this is how I learn the limits of the truck.
