Mine arrived today!!!🤗

So, who has done an install?
I’m trying to figure out how much time I need to dedicate to this next week (including overthinking it and drinking a couple beers).

according to my mechanic the install wasn't too bad......the directions could have been a little more clear but he still got it handled.......he said he stopped after each step and read the installation instructions from his laptop......total time for him was 1.5 hours taking his time....another 30-45 minutes for the install of the lights.......not too shabby I'd say!

as promised here's the pics...... @GregFoutz

Before....& after......I also had the "Swarfworks" plate relocation kit which seems to be the way to go if you NEED a front plate per your states requirements.

https://swarfworks.com/2010-2023-ford-raptor-front-license-plate-relocation/

I chose this one.. SW-LPMG3-A01b-BST

and the lights are Baja Design LP6 "driving combo" with amber backlight

https://www.bajadesigns.com/products/lp6-pro-led-auxiliary-light-pod/?vid=666664490&sku=270003

Here's the Instagram reel I took after the install at dusk..

Same here. I probably won’t get my lights hooked up, but I’ll get the hard part done.
BTW…I have 2 sets of Auxbeam lights with a massive wiring harness. Do I understand correctly that I can connect them directly to the Aux switches? Or, do I run them to the battery and ground, and just cut off the switch portion and run that to the aux switch?
Thanks!

my mechanic hooked up the amber backlights to aux #1 and the actual lights to aux #2.......when my yellow Diode Dynamic fogs come in he can wire them to have the amber backlight on those run off the same aux#1 so both sets will work off of the same switch and the actual fogs will work with the factory knob.........I ordered the Baja Designs wiring harness for the 2 LP6 lights and my mechanic said he only really needed the plugs to plug into the lights......but he used it anyway.....

Okay, when pulling gently, try to push in the tabs on the little grey clips while pulling then after the two on the sides the other 6 will eventually release

If you aren’t traveling heavily loaded or towing a big trailer, drop your cold tire pressure to 36 psi front and rear. It rides much better and you get a complete (full width) contact patch too. That doesn’t happen at 39 psi.

Ok. Pretty easy install. Also this gives good access to do the fog light replacements.

The one piece of info missing from the instructions, and I don’t blame an Arizona company for this at all, but you will also need to remove the 2 8mm bolts that hold on the block heater plug. That’s gotta come off. Otherwise amazing.

I don’t think I removed those bolts, but I do think you should remove the plastic bumper, disconnect the parking sensor harness, and set it aside, the actual bumper after the 6 big screws are out, you will need someone to help you hold it steady on something unlesss you have a jack or cherry picker thing. That wiring harness to the fog lights and other stuff cannot come off and is awkward to hold lol. If one of these little guys pops off when you’re taking the bumper off, it holds the threaded plate lined up with the 6 bumper bolts. But yea, fun install and very rewarding aftermarket setup.

It didn’t mention what the 4 bolts and l bracket were for/used. Any ideas?

I used the 4 bolts to bolt down my light bracket. Retrofitted from my bronco. The listing stated there were supports for heavier light bars. So maybe I missed a step.

Here’s my front cam view. All in all the best light bar mounting option out there.

My mechanic didn't use those either....he gave me the baggie back with the 4 bolts and 2 L brackets inside. Maybe for a light bar?.....I'll keep them until I clean my garage in 2 years and find out I'll never use them and then throw them away

I just had the tires rotated and balanced by Americas Tire and they set the tire PSI to 39 as that what it states in the door jam. It rides fine but I did notice "funky" wear on the front tires already (I'm at 3,500 miles)....looked liked it was feathering a little bit.....hoping the rotation and balance helps.....I did have the alignment done after I did the front "level lift" so that might have caused it but honestly I've never had good luck with any BFG KO tire and I've had a bunch over the years.....I might go to Falken Wildpeaks when these get too bad or wear out or when I get sick of them.....had them on my previous 2021 Ranger Lariat Tremor and loved them!

I do carry a Little giant folding aluminum ladder and roofing brochures and samples (I'm a roofing contractor) but it's only sales related stuff and a couple few hundred lbs max....

I don't really want to run any lower PSI as I'm only getting barely 10 mpg.....mostly city and lots of stop and go and yes I drive like I stole it and love the power!....but I was hoping for as much as 15 mpg.....but I didn't buy it to save gas! :piggybank:...you gotta pay to play!

Well, I finished installing my two spot lights (auxbeam 4” cube-Zs), took me a while but I guess a labor of love shouldn’t be rushed. My two floods will arrive after we have left to visit family. I’ll take better pics once my back isn’t killing me.

What are your connections? Are your red cables going directly to the battery?
