Stage 1: BakFlip MX4, Ford DIBL, pod & aux reverse lights, good power to the back.

Lighting: Used Auxbeam switch panel, ran my GMRS antenna coax thru the port too.

Used 2" Alluminum plate to mount the fuse panel and breaker. Only mod to the auxbeam stuff was to crimp and solder a 90 on the positive side, since it wouldnt fir the cap.

Will do. Have added an MX4 bed cover, mud guards (Ford) and ordered my RB20 running boards today. Next will be wheels and tires. The Good Year factory tires are horrible.

Yep I will post back when its done. It should be great! I do like the BF MX4! How much do the mud guards cover? This one has Husky flaps. I dont plan to change to 33s just yet, since it will be 1.5" level so it should still be OK with the stock size. Plus these generals are quite good for an OE tire.

They also tilt in a bit at the bottom and no way to adjust much.

I want to do 1.5” lift level then go to 17” wheels and 32” tires.

How will you get to 1-1/2? Looks like Dobinson springs only comes in 1 inch increments?

Do you plan to get the 1 inch and then preload more to get the extra 1/2 inch?

Very interested in this as it’s the same as I want to do!

It should be adjustable preload. Thats the plan at least... will find out soon! Once its done I will post up the results. It will also be featured in a video of a buddy of mine, since I dont trust myself to compress & assemble coilovers haha. Thats one of the few things I refuse to DIY. I will be sure to put the results up here. Should be in a few weeks! So as long as you dont mind a few weeks wait, I can have the results!

Parts ordered were the Dobinson IMS coil, strut, reae shock pair, and top hats. If anyone wants stock FX4 strut and shock pair, they will probably be up for sale 😂

Looking forward to the write up and results!

For personal interest, please include before and after measurements from the center of the wheels (front and rear) to the fender.

Thanks in advance.
