Antenna delete for Roof Racks?

Has anyone put a roof rack on their RR yet?

I'm going to be installing the Front Runner Slimsport rack soon, and I don't see how the OEM antenna is going to be able to stay..

Google searching has brought up nothing valuable (imo). I thought that was surprising given this vehicle has been around the Australian market for a while, but maybe they have a different antenna setup?

Nothing turns up on searches for antenna delete, either.

I'm not the smartest guy ever, but seems weird...any advice appreciated.

I replaced mine with a stubby and installed a rhino rack on the roof, fits like a charm.

Depend on how much space is there could you put on a stubby antenna.

I haven't yet...that being said, saw a video just a minute ago showing the spacing / impact around the antenna is quite small (shown at the 20 second mark).



With a stubby installed, as others have said, looks to me like flat items can be loaded over that area.
