Unfortunately, I don't compare our products to others. I intentionally don't look at other company's products. I don't want to be influenced by their designs. If you're curious how that works out over a full product line, please take a look at our main website (https://AmericanAdventureLab.com). We don't follow others. We solve our own problems in our own way.

I apologize if that isn't what you're looking for as a comparison. It isn't my intent to sound brash. Their panels may be great. I have no idea. I wish them nothing but success. I just know what we have put ours through, even using this design for several years on the Gladiator platform with zero failures.

Serious question, what is the difference between your and the builtright PALs panels?

After posting that, I decided to take a look at the panels you mentioned. I am not going to say which product is better. I will never speak down to a competitor's products. We all have our reasons for designing things a certain way, but I can speak to some differences that affect the strength of our design.

• We have several flanges built into our design. These flanges add substantial rigidity over non-flanged designs. They are also more difficult to produce since they require additional machines and accurate processes.
• We do not use any spacers that offset the force applied vertically. All of our mounting points are panel-to-bedside flush, meaning no hardware is put in a potential sideload failure or wear over time.
• We maintain a consistent plane over the mounting surface (no overlapping panels). As indicated by the red connecting part in the attached photo, we connect the two main panels with an additional piece attached behind the mounting surface. This adds a ton of strength and ensures a consistent mounting surface, again adding production expense and value.

Having not installed a MX4 myself, I can't say for sure, but based on the video on the REALTRUCK site, it looks like the MX4 attaches to the inner flange of the bedsides. I don't see any reason that would interfere.

That one also attaches to the inner flange of the bed rails, so it should work. However, the tensioning brackets, that hold the cover onto the bedsides, seem to tension against the bedsides. If you have our MOLLE panels installed, those brackets would then tension against our MOLLE panels. I also don't see where they're exiting with the drains on the '24+ trucks. On the 5th gen, there was a hole in the bed that their tubes passed through. If you can send me some photos of those tubes installed on yours, I'll be glad to weigh in. Thanks for your interest!

We have already started shipping them. We're working on larger batches now with the expectation that textured black and raw will both be in stock once we are able to accurately gauge demand.

OK. Any chance you can add on the trailer plug relocation kit on a deal (not free) or throw it in the same box for shipping with the molle panels?

I got my bulkhead molle panel installed today. Should have been a 20 min job but took much longer since I stripped one of the tie down bolts. No instructions but I think I got it done right. It seems super solid and well made and I’m happy with it. Installed with no issues with a bak x4s cover although I didn’t install the top bolts (yet). They can be installed with the cover but I might need to loosen it to make room for the install (and then realign which I’m reluctant to parti particularly after the stripped bolt headache).
