Oh sweet! That's great news! I have HP tuners, this will be the way to go!
I'm here when you're ready!!! All you'll need is a tune and credits!

Thank you all for the support, it's truly humbling!!

I was able to get all the Ranger (and bronco) orders fulfilled today, and have ran out of devices. My next batch will be in next week.

I've also ran out of those, so I will be placing another order to restock once more!:clap:

For those who have ordered this weekend, ETA for shipping to you is tomorrow.

I've run out of stock (twice) again, so I have more tuning bundles being sent to me overnight. Both should arrive tomorrow so I can turn around shipping!

Can't wait to see all these Bronco Raptors stacking on the power!! :muscle:

As far as dealers go, all we have to do is load the stock tune back before we take it in?

Load the stock tune and add 10-15 key cycles.

I always recommend if planning to go in for service just remove the tune a week ahead of time or so, that way you can put some drive cycles on it too

Stop tempting me! I have too many credit cards with zero balance!

Also, what about towing? Are the different modes still available with the tune installed?

Lol!!

I make tow tunes. You'd still want to use tow mode on the tow tune. But it's not recommended to tow on a performance tune.

Or you can always flash back to stock to tow if needed

Order placed!! Can't wait!

I tow a small boat pretty regularly. Combined weight of boat and trailer is about 3200 pounds.

Im considering not using the tow tune, not to save the money but just for convenience sake. At least until changing the maps via cruise is available.

My reasoning being that the truck barely struggles currently so I feel with judicious use of the throttle and careful gear selection I could keep temps down as well as avoid lugging at low rpms thus reducing the chance for knock.

I understand this is an upsell for Winfield and I dont want to short anyone but I just cant imagine reflashing 3 times a week. If I were towing something heavier and didnt already have an f350 I would probably reconsider. Also, when on the fly map switching becomes available I will for sure purchase the tow tune.

I welcome all opinions on this matter especially any thoughts Winfield might have.

Thank you very much man!! I really appreciate it!

I can't wait to see what you think!

We can talk about map switching/tow/etc via email. I'll explain what i've seen and what I'm doing on my truck currently!

Thanks again!

The temptation is real, but I need to hold out until next year when I'll have all the other stuff on hand and ready to install prior.

The FP tune will have to hold me until then. ?

I'm sure a lot of 2.7 Ranger owners will be interested in this as well. Let us know if and when HPT offers support for our platform.
Thanks in advance.
