There is more to it since the insides of the evaporator casing is quite complex and how the blend doors work based on zone setting. I would presume the cost to benefit is too great.

Where do we order the parts from and how much do they cost? I'm too lazy to look that up but might be inclined to try this if reasonable cost for the parts.

It gets -40 up here bud on the regular, i'd sure like to have hot air on the hands for passengers\kids
Anyone have a list of the exact part numbers we need?

I was also thinking it might be easier to just order\install the vents and add your own in cabin heater, but i know you guys down south need the AC

And as you are aware, you are not cold starting and running out in those temps. Your kids will have gloves on, and they will have only been outside for maybe 3 minutes, lets not kid our selves on what is actually occuring. The rear climate could be better, agreed, but also its not needed the cabin is small enough to heat and cool adequately.

Folks, this is a solution looking for a problem. The Ranger cabin will well designed for air flow and really isn't that large. With the 4(!) front vents properly positioned (which is really easy) the back seats receive excellent direct air flow. I live in Central Florida which means the summer heat and sun places a lot of heat into the cabin. However, the truck cools quickly and with tinted windows, the A/C can quickly turn the truck into an ice-box. Instead of pursuing a do-it-yourself job that will void a warranty, just learn how to use your truck.

My workaround is to use remote start (either via key fob or ford app) to get the AC going before i get in. With ceramic tinted windows, ranger needs about 5 min to drop the cabin temperature from 150 to 70s.
