Another alternative is application of PPF to all four sills...clean look, preserves the OE 'Ford Performance' look along with self healing properties for those in-n-out scrapes.
I had XPEL on my Tacoma door sills and it was chewed up in no time. Gravel driveway and in and out on the farm, it just doesn’t hold up. It looked good though.

Understood...that said, for most 'city dwellers', PPF offers a superior sill protective solution  ?

How rough was the downpipe install?
It wasn’t terrible. Travis with Houston Speed Freaks made an install video during the install.

Added the @TrailRax Roof Rack w/ Baja Designs lights up top. Not sure how I feel about how high the Baja Designs light sit up above the rack. Makes me kind of wish I would have just went light bar.

I tried a few different configurations with the brackets to get it lower but the lights would just never clear the air deflector. Maybe I should have gone with 6 lights but the person helping me pick a light out from the Trailrax website said that 7 would be best. Gonna rock it for a little while and see if I get used to it.

Edit: I read this later and was afraid this might come off like I'm throwing shade at Trailrax's support staff. I didn't mean it like that. They have been excellent and super helpful.

The rack itself is solid as a rock and installed without issue.

Looking forward to seeing some more photos of your whole truck with the new setup. The rear shot you took doesn't seem like its too tall and that photo looks like it was taken with a more natural focal length. You also have the tent on top so its raising the baseline height of the truck in appearance, I wonder what it looks with no tent?
Is that light bar taking up the usability of the first rung bar behind the wind deflector? If it is maybe there is a C-clamp style bracket you can use to lower the lights more. Might defeat the purpose of the wind deflector though.

So full transparency, I wrote that post after spending an entire day doing all of this without breakfast or lunch. I was being a grump haha.

I inspected it this morning over a cup of coffee and it's already growing on me. I wish the light slotted into the cutout a little better but it's fine.

Yes, the first bar is taken up by the lights but there should still be enough room for storage like roam boxes.

Does anyone elses hood shake (lift) on the freeway? I’ve adjusted everything right and the hood lifts in the corners like crazy.
