I originally was going to go with Livernois as I had used some of their stuff in prior vehicles, this was when they were offering an unlocked ECU and you had to swap it. Reasons won't go into it didn't work out, I was looking at the ford tune but have a friend with a raptor and riding in it after he got the ford tune I wasn't super impressed.

I saw the post where HP tuners will now work on our trucks and reached out to Goose. I left a VM they called back pretty quick, answered questions I had. I have never used HP tuners before and was a little unsure of some of the steps but Winfield was patient and worked with me to get the logs he needed. I think we had 3 tunes and about 4 logs. He got it done pretty quick, tuned for 91 octane. Truck has ALOT more power down low and can definitely feel the difference. I been driving with my foot in it and I think I lost about a mile per gallon (Have to wait till I'm driving normally to be sure).

If your trying to decide which tuner I def recommend giving Goose a call.

You made the right choice. Always best to go with a custom tune vs a canned tune.
Unfortunately for us 2.7 owners, Livernois is the only game in town for now.

They weren't bad for the pre made tunes, I just had issues when trying to get the unlocked ECU stuff going. I had it for my 19 ranger and for wife's explorer if I remember right.

Livernois have unlocked the PCM's for the 3.0 and 2.7 now. I'm just waiting for HPT to crack the 2.7 Ranger PCM and then it's off to Goose I go, providing he's willing to do the 2.7 Rangers.

Well this is great news if so, when i asked if goose tuned the 2.7s previously, i took it as he just didn't, not that they hadn't cracked the PCM. Heres to hopng.

And if not you can always go with Livernois.

Winfield is the bomb... IMO there really is no better tune. He owns the vehicles he tunes and his customer service is second to none. There is no other tune I would go with personally.

Do you have other mods? CAI or intercooler?

Good, its firmer and seems to be a better shift behavior. I know sometimes I'd let out of it and it would take forever to down shift. Seems to not do that one anymore.

Cobb intercooler and a BOV. When I saw wasn't alot of support I stopped buying mods. I'll probably jump back in and do airbox, cats, and then look at a trans so I can do the new turbos out for our trucks.

Thanks, he offers 2 options so I was just curious. I will likely get his tune later on.
I've done other tuners before and gotta say HP tuners makes it as easy as it can get. That being said Goose seems to do alot of raptors.
