If you live in the city in an apartment, the underground spot is tight.

Arhh ! you have two cars spots within the columns of a buildings underground parking.
The guy beside me works from home. Have to back up into the spots. Although, I see the turning radius of the G6 is impressive. Maybe able to park the truck nose in.

He had this newer but old bug. beat up. So me being a big guy i would touch his car.
A Strange argument had happened. Funny with the way the insurance saw it. Could have happened any where. I gave him $250 cash to settle it. The Bug was done.
Some what like my 4G Ranger. His now is a Pearl White BMW convertible.

These are tight spot's. i currently put my smaller width 4G Ranger in the spot. Have to back it in.
Being a machinist I will thrive on the space measurements and underground height maximum.
At 6' 6". The XLT

I talked about the Drivers seat getting damaged.
Over 10 years. Mainly commuting a 15 minute drive each way. Go over a bridge and on to my polytechnic I work at. I am hard on interiors. More the thought of its a work truck.

This time I wish to keep the seats clean.

Will get my picture posted of my 10 + year old 2011 Ranger Bolsters.

I order the XLT in Marsh Gray. Big Fan of the 2.3L, and its progressions.
I still think the Lineage of the engine started with the Pinto. Actually they were competitive in their class of road racing. Ie Datsun 510. BMW.

I think it would create conversation if I put "SVO" where the FX4 or other designation are.
The 2.3L Mustang SVO.

As more of a utilitarian Ranger I would lean more towards the XL with XLT options. You can build a pretty good truck in the XL. I like the rubber floor. Hey, Ford you should put the Drain plugs from the Bronco into the ranger Floor pan. Very disappointed in NA we cannot get the Super Cab with the 6' bed.

Fingers crossed it will be reliable. I have faith in you Ford. Long time Lover.
Trying to Help the Wayne Michigan Plant and their Employee's .

Us Canadians are `aware of where the vehicle is produced. A Toyota is still made in Mexico and US. Ford was pretty smart in their supply chain its somewhat all made in the US.

I got my RR back with new powered running boards.
With door closed and step retracted.
Pics show the following:
Side view of RR.
Closer side view.
With door open and step lighted.
With door open and step retracted.
On - off switch. This control whether or not you want to use running boards. Kinda cool that you don’t have to always use them. I did know the on off switch was even an option. I’m going to remove and rewire the switch to 1 of the onboard toggles.
They are 13” off the ground. If I remember correctly the stock boards were 20, but feel free to correct me if I’m wrong.

Wife is 5'3" and she grabs the grab handle, steps on the slider and spider monkeys herself into the seat.

You guys can simply have seats reupholstered, and normally in that process the upholstery shops rebuild the foam, since that normally breaks down over time as well.
You can typically get new OEM material replaced for 300-400 bucks for just one seat.
You can get both seats and armrest all redone for under a grand. If it is just the seat bottom and not the whole seat, that is normally a couple hundred bucks.

I look at like why spend hundreds on a cover when the original can be repaired for similar money if ever needed.

That amount of drop is perfect for us. Thank you! Was wondering if the installer could wire it to a toggle at install or if that affects warranty? Also, did you graphene or ceramic the paint? It looks great. Also how did you decide on a bed cover and what did you get?

For replacing one seat cushion?

An entire leather package here is about 1400-1800 depending on options on a 4 seat truck like these. I was mainly thinking reupholster just the 1 damaged cushion.

Hey guys! This may seem like a ridiculous post. Picked up my RR today and found it quite awkward to get in and out of it, especially getting out. I definitely left some skin on the running board from my leg scraping against it while stepping out. I’m a bigger guy at 6’2 260lbs and it seems I’m somewhere in the middle of being too tall to just step down and not short enough to comfortably use the running board while stepping down.

I’d imagine I’m not the only one that’s had to figure this out. I’ve had many trucks, some were lifted, that I needed to figure out how to get in and out routinely.

Thanks in advance!
Your the man for even bringing this up. I thought maybe I was just getting old timers stiffness! One thing is, I need or would prefer the missing grab handle, it's a bit of a stretch to reach the one on the Passenger Side! Lol, Ridicules to me to have just one and on the wrong side at that! The one thing that helped me and something I did even on my F150 is to extend the running boards out an inch and and quarter (1-1/4") at the center of bolt holes, so that they can actually be used/more functional and not just appearance and semi usable. Allows me to actually stand on them and pivot butt/hip first in and still keep my hat on with a little ducking action! Lol

First the stock running boards. My wife hated the stock boards. Then when I told I was putting power running boards on she said why, I would be ruining the look of the truck. Actually the change was for my mom. We have breakfast once a week and at 88 she wouldn’t Be able to climb in and out. Wife now says the power boards are great and the stance looks better and taller with boards tucked under. At 6’ I turn them off when I’m the only one in the truck.

I had the mechanic show me where they’re wired in. They are wired directly to the battery. They are fused and there is a separate wire for each side. Toggle switches are right there so should be pretty easy. I need to go to Westin web site to see their power draw. Each side has a 20 amp fuse but it’s hard to believe each side pulls 20 amps. If they do I might have to use 2 switches. The mechanic might wire them into the switches but since it differs from OEM instruction they might not.

I didn’t use ceramic or graphene. Both are very expensive, (est @ $2000)limited life, ( est 4-5 years), special washing needed, and doesn’t really help with rock chips. I did put PPF on the front for rock chips. With memberships at the car wash I can wash my truck all the time with very little effort. Once a year wax goes a long way too. Just my view.

I put a Lomax tri fold hard cover. I chose that because that’s what’s on my big truck and I like it. There are other good brands also.

Cheers!
