Don't know why Line-X folded the tent in Wichita, as they did my trucks with premium and also under coated and rust proofed for $1500 in 2021. If you do all that with less than 1000 miles the warranty is lifetime. My dealer paid half as part of the deal. Other than Rhino, I know of Phoenix, across the street from the former Line-X dealer. Phoenix is a Texas company, not well known and fewer installers. Looked at the chemical composition and it is similar to Line-X. I plan to go Rhino Solarmax. Never used a Bedrug, just a Ford rubber bed mat when on sale and a tonneau, a Retrax MX Pro. Why Bedrug? I deal with Toppers Plus for that stuff and what is now called Sun Stoppers for XPEL PPF and XPEL window film.
Toppers plus does the Rhino lining, that’s where I was at yesterday.
For about the same cost, I just wanted premium name brand, or rather one I had heard of before.

The old Line-X store is now called Truck works ICT.
Same ownership, that’s also the local ARE topper dealer, which I was 100% set on getting an ARE topper, I wanted the contoured rear door glass, no other brand does it.

Truck works had dropped or parted ways with Line-X, apparently they felt Line-X was getting to greedy and they parted ways with them, changed the shop name because of it, and switched to phoenix coatings.

Which Truckworks is doing my undercoating, also selling and installing my ARE topper and bed-rug.
I am sure my undercoating will be with Phoenix coatings, which I never heard of before a couple weeks ago. But I think they are about the only game in town for undercoatings.

I like the toppers plus / rhino liner guys a lot, they just didn’t have access to the ARE topper products.

Toppers plus does nice work with their spray in liners.

I gave up on my usual dealer after 22 VIN dealer trade failures since June 2025 and no truck. … You gots to do what you gots to do…
I ordered during the Employee Pricing promo.
Took 5 months (including the airbag recall), but I got a bit over 7% off sticker.

Another way is to get X pricing. If you know someone who works for Ford, they can give you a pin code. Each Ford employee can give out four pin codes a year to neighbors and friends. That's about 4% off MSRP or 1.4% below dealer invoice. Does not apply to RR, of course. Know any Ford employees who need you as their friend?

I'm very disappointed. Not only did we not get ventilated seats, but a downgrade to ActiveX. Not even perforated.

I might just hold off or get a Tacoma which offers ventilated seats.
I am considering trading my '24 Ranger Lariat for '25 or '26 Tacoma TRD Sport.

I fully intend to. I'm a few months out from purchase still. The 6.2 in the ZR-2 scares me also.. I wanted the RR to work out, biggest concerns were the "what if I need more space/two capacity" concerns, but otherwise I was just waiting for what I thought would be an obvious change by bringing red back.. I can get by without sunroof and ventilated seats... but I really enjoy a red or orange truck. As an IU fan, I won't drive a blue even if it looks good.. cant be looked at as possibly being a UK fan in this area lol.

I posted a few links to some very low milage Red Ranger Raptors last week.
I know at least a couple of them still looked brand new.

This red one only has 5K miles.

I understand about UK, as a Louisville fan. The 2026 Maverick will have Orange Fury Metallic, a Mustang color. Too small a vehicle for me and it just seems cheap. After months of dealing with my regular Ford dealership with no results, I went to another Ford dealer on Saturday and asked what he could do to find me a Ruby Red Ranger Lariat, 2.7L, FX4, Black Appearance, trailer tow. He just emailed me to say he's got two possibilities and will let me know this afternoon if he can get one. I see zero reason to buy a 2026 Ranger unless something just grabs you, if you can find or live with what is out there. 2026 looks like a trim level shell game for more money to me.

But they're selling it for $56,7xx and wouldn't budge. Tried to buy it in August.
Given there is only 1 out there with that low of miles (1100 miles on it) in RED.

It may not be a great deal, but it accomplishes the goal, if you're really wanting a red Ranger Raptor for arguably less than trying to wrap or paint one in red, and probably still a little less then new one in some other color. I agree, I don't like the price, but it would not stop me from getting what I really wanted.

If I were dead set on getting a Red Ranger Raptor and there is still a couple like new examples out there. I would pay what it took to buy it, that way I get exactly what I wanted, and I would go and enjoy it.

The RRs do seem to be holding their value quite well.

Better than most any other mid-size truck on the market, only thing even close might be a TRD pro Taco.

If you are trading in anything, your trade vehicle has devalued since August, and it isn't likely to go up. You need to consider how much you are going to have to put down to buy a used vehicle that is now another model year older since the 2026 RR order bank is open. Cash is one thing; a loan is another. Used vehicles all sell eventually, even to a wholesaler or junk yard. In the case of the RRR above, someone will buy it, especially at those miles and still under warranty. If you need to, maybe you can negotiate on shipping.

I'm not the guy who wanted the Red, just noting that I did want to buy this vehicle back in August but it was more than new 25s and only 1k less than that 26 I just ordered but it is available now and CPO come with better interest rates and warranty, so not horrible if Red is what you want.

Ah, yea, those are some great points. Being a CPO is great to hear.
I was just saying life is short that is not that bad of deal, that I would not let that price stop me from getting it if that was the only color I wanted, and that truck was out there.
I would go for it.
I have seen far crazier prices on these trucks.
I paid 58K for my 2025, and 62K for my 2024 last year.

The 56K for that rare 1K mile Red one is not that bad.

Yeah.. I considered buying a used one. However, I get a little sketched when I am buying a performance oriented vehicle, especially 2-3 years in to warranty..I'm also not a big fan of off-reds. I've never bought a new vehicle for myself and I think I am gonna stick with the plan.

I was definitely hooked on the idea of this truck, and while I could do without the sunroof or ventilated seats, I was definitely hoping for a true red or orange option.
