Just a puck style level. The struts are factory.
ride quality is faintly stiffer but nothing horrible. It did soften up some with the bigger tires.

Hi mates, good day to everyone.

So after this post, I couldn’t wait and just bought the 275/70R18 tires.
I had them installed last weekend and so far, no rubbing at all.
No spacers, no leveling kit, just bigger tires on a stock Ranger.

If anyone was waiting for this info before mounting this set… it’s good to go!

Here’s a pic, I’ll send more pics when I get home.

I don’t know the specs of these factory wheels but I’d say possibly could with a 1.5 I’ve seen people go with 265 and no lift and clear it.
Truck looks awesome!

The BAP wheel is the same as the other stock 18” Ranger rims, and Bronco rims for that matter.
‘they are 18x7.5 with a +55 offset.

I was just searching Bronco 18s and those were all the same spec, was hoping to find a +35.

Everything I’ve seen indicates 285 is indeed too wide (without spacers), unfortunately, and for a mostly-road truck I’d really like to keep the tires within the wheelwells.
A 285 would need a different wheel.
‘From what I have seen in the specs, 285s require a minus rim width of 8” .
‘The Ford OE Ranger 18” wheels are all 7.5” wide.

I believe 275 is as wide as we can go on a stock wheel.

Did you do anything to recalibrate your speedometer/odometer to account for the bigger tires? I'm about to throw some 275 70R18's on mine but I've been reading that dealerships cannot or will not recalibrate, and heard that for the 2025 models Forscan added a limit parameter that doesn't let you add tires this size

Should be able to get really close with the standard 285s found on the Raptor.
‘Not suggesting you buy that tire, just that the software should recognize that tire, and that tire is also a 33” tire. Not exact same spec height but very close. If memory serves it would be something like 32.8 vs 33.2 . That should be very close in terms of speed and distance in your gauges.

Question,
Would the wheels be just to the edge of the fender if you did a 1" spacer? I'm going to get this tire size and I am depating doing spacers, just to fill out the wheel wells. Thanks!

1" Wheel spacer is about the same as my +30 offset.
25mm = 0.98" inch.

A good set of high-quality hub centric spacers can cost several hundred dollars.
A set of Bronco SAS take off Rims would be a +30 offset netting you the same results.
