How are yall fitting wider tires on stock wheels? I don’t have a level and my 255/70/r17s have less than a finger width between the upper control arm and side wall. Do the black appearance wheels have a different offset/backspacing than the standard wheels?

This is absolutely fantastic.
If only I could find 275/80R16s or even 275/75R17s…

Definitely be cool if those were available. I think the closest would be the classic 285/70R17, which are only 0.4 wider. I wonder if that would cause rubbing on the UCA?

Not sure about wheels specifically on the bap 18s but this is the gap I have. It’s tight but works. Airing down would be different story.

Everything I’ve seen indicates 285 is indeed too wide (without spacers), unfortunately, and for a mostly-road truck I’d really like to keep the tires within the wheelwells.

This size looks right to me, what offset are your wheels. Also you think they would fit with a 1.5" front lift?

I don’t know the specs of these factory wheels but I’d say possibly could with a 1.5 I’ve seen people go with 265 and no lift and clear it.

You just gotta find someone nearby with a Shelter Green Raptor like mine to park next to for Christmas, it would be quite festive 🎄, love that red!
