Anyone who is considering whether to use Goose, go on fordraptorforum and see the hundreds of pages containing thousands (literally) of 100% universally positive rave reviews on Winfield's product and customer service. There's your answer.

I had almost 60,000 trouble free miles on my Goosetuned Stage 2 Gen 2 Raptor (truck was stolen in Houston, FML) and am at 30K miles and counting on my Goosetuned Stage 2 Gen 3 Raptor.

Thanks a ton man, I appreciate it!!!

I went with Livernois with my RR and it’s been great. Like the fact it’s a tow and performance tune with the Mycal. It shifts so good I don’t use sport mode anymore unless I’m getting retarded, lol. I really don’t think the horsepower difference matters unless you’re going to drag race all the time, then it would more important to be on the edge. I can tell you from a 15 mph roll I can do burn outs and chirp shifts then be normal driving and firm shifts that don’t snap your neck but feel great.

Same here….shifts are like butter until you hammer it. Totally different truck. Best money spent for me

I am Goosetuned after many thousand miles with FP tune…. The truck is a beast with the custom tune, significantly faster than FP tune.

Winfield was very fast with responses & the process was easy & complete in a few days. I’m very satisfied with the Goosetuned Raptor.
Speed limiter removed, auto start/stop eliminated, gear display on in normal mode, some benefits besides power.

Livernois raises speed limiter, removes start/stop but no gear indicator displayed in normal mode. However it doesn’t come with A tune, it’s 2 tunes. They were a bit slow, took 3 days to get my tune, but their customer service is spot on and they work directly with the OE’s. I had the 4d tech start/stop eliminator and when I loaded the tune the a/c didn’t work right. I called at like 5 pm and 5 mins later had a call back and he explained to remove the 4d eliminator and everything was back to normal.

I’m sure Goose is great, personally I just felt better with Livernois having OE ties and a towing tune included with the Mycal. We need as many tuners and aftermarket parts as possible to move this platform ahead in the US.

I have had the FP tune, the other well known tuner, and eventually ended up with @Goosetuned. The FP tune is great for a little xtra power and those who want to retain the factory warranty. I was recommended going with one of the other well known tuners and had a really bad experience. I got jerked around for a little over 2 months and received very little communication when literally begging for it, voicemails completely unreturned & emails all most completely unreturned, and when I did get emails they were short, vague, and never answered the questions regarding the issues I was having. The files I was receiving were not even for the RR ECU, so once I figured that out it made sense why I was having some of the issues I was having. Then somehow my credits for my RTD4 were removed and my device was bricked until we got that sorted out, and the only reason I was able to figure that out is because I had finally gotten fed up and reached out to Winfield for help. He was Awesome, and started communicating with me immediately and answering all of my questions without ever having purchased anything from him. After sometime talking with him I was sold and purchased my 3rd tune for this truck, and I don’t regret it one bit. The tuning process with @Goosetuned was very quick and easy. He has me on my way with my final tune in less than 48 hours after multiple revisions getting everything dialed in to my liking and wishing safe operating limits of the motor. If you are considering any of the other options, save yourself the time and money and hit up @Goosetuned, you will not regret it.

Thanks a ton for the very detailed review.

A lot of times people don't know these sorts of details when it comes to picking a tuner. It's the little things like this that separate a good experience from a bad one. And in your case potentially dangerous one when being sent the wrong tunes. It's very important that attention to detail is there. This is your very expensive means of transportation. It needs to be done right the first time.

I try to be available to the community as much as I can. If it were me looking for tuning, that's what I'd want.

Thanks again for the kind words

I went with EMS Tuning for the lifetime tune meaning any upgrades I make to the engine performance like intercoolers, turbo's,exhaust its free you dont have to pay goosetune 200 bucks for an update.

It’s great to have options and we need as many tuners as possible.
It just boils down to what you like doing.
If your like me and wanted plug and play tunes 90 hp and towing or you enjoy making data logs and interacting more personally with a tuner.
Both are good options.
Only first hand knowledge I have is from Livernois and it met my expectations.

Goose is super cool he shipped my process west shit to the Yukon before I even finished paying for the whole order lol, definitely a trustworthy guy.

I think for the eco boost 3.0L platform the two best choices are Goose or ZFG. ZFG has most of the world records for fully modified setups, but I believe goose has the record for stock. Can't go wrong either way.

Customer service seems to favour goose.

I try to spread my money around a bit to help the overall community so maybe I buy parts from one, tune from the other, I dunno. Either way winter here now so I will keep saving up for more gear then mod everything at once

I need SPD downpipes, intake, diverter next hoping to find some Black Friday deals

Waiting on rumoured SPD trombone exhaust too.

From there I will get a tune and then maybe turbos and fuel if I still want more.

BTW @Goosetuned do you think turbos and fuel system is worth it if I can't get e85?

best I can get up here is 94 octane 10% ethanol.

Thanks for the kind words, Yukon!

You are correct! We do own the stock turbo 3.0 record, and by 4mph at that! Making power isn't hard, making it reliable seems to be the skill gap. Good thing that's my focus, so it's not a problem I face.

I'd do the fuel system. It gives you the headroom for more in the future should you want it.
