So I bought some regular ranger wheels from the Ford website to put my snow tires on. They came with Ford TPMS sensors. When I tried programming the new TMPS sensors, they would not pair to the vehicle. Even took it to the dealer and they couldn't retrain the TPMS module. Said the issue was being caused by the FP tune I had them install a few weeks ago (also had some body control module faults). I've done nothing else to it besides install the from grill LEDs to the Aux 1 switch.

Has anyone had problems with the TPMS module after installing the FP tune?

It's not the FP tune that's causing it, though in the off chance you put the 2024 FP tune in a 2025, that could be the cause of the body control module faults. (I'm just not sure if it's actually possible to put the '24 tune into a '25.)

I think there was a thread or two saying that there was a change to the TPMS frequency during some point in the 2025 production. So it's very possible that the TPMS that came with those wheels is different than what your truck came with.

I'm having the same issue after switching from Stock to my RRW wheels with +25 offset. Takes about 20 minutes of continuous driving and one or two sensors faults and loses connection. Sometimes it reconnects while driving but usually doesn't reconnect until the truck is stopped for a while. Then we just recycle the same thing over and over again. I haven't taken it in to ford yet because they said they would have to analyze it for several days even though my ford app has over 200 tire faults on the app as proof.

My son's truck won't connect to his new wheel's sensors either. His dealer said they have to replace something because they tried to connect them a few times uaung different methods and decided something in the truck needed to be replaced.

His is a 24 stx 4x4

Now I wonder if the module in the trucks is bad.
The shop I initially took it to couldn't even connect to it with their diagnostic tool.

Mine is a 2024 Raptor with RRW +25 wheels and FP Tune (for the time being).

I had Autel TPMS sensors installed when I swapped the RRW wheels on and had zero issues with those sensors until we started getting mornings where the temp was in the upper 30's. They started to not want to connect to the truck.

I removed the Factory TPMS sensors from the Factory wheels, before I sold them, and had them installed onto the RRW wheels.
After a couple relearns, they work ok, but will now and then show zero psi when I get into the truck after it sat overnight. They always reconnect to the truck after about a mile of driving, where as the Autel refused to even connect after over 20 miles of driving.

Update on this if anyone cares, the TPMS sensor frequency with FORD sensors from pre-2025 are incompatible with my truck. Supposedly the ones I need are on back order with the dealership. I am kind of in doubt but I'll see if they actually do show up and try to replace them.

This dude nailed it early in the thread.

That's the Word! Changed from the old 315 to the 433Mhz sometime during the 2024 to 2025 period. Usually printed some where on the tire sensor so makes no sense why tire shops or everyone doesn't check them it seems. . You cannot change the frequency of the tpms module that I'm aware of but can buy dual Mhz sensors for tire swaps. Some OBD readers/tools can identify the sensors frequency thats on the vehicle!
