Copy that. I did not see the plus choice on the website, but I am good with the stainless steel. Ordered on Monday, out for delivery now, and will be installed before it gets dark. No more prop rod! Nice!
You'll enjoy them! Wicked easy install. Feel free to reach out to me if you need a hand or have any questions.

I had put hood struts on my GT350 as well, not cool Ford.
That's wild, Ford out here skimping on all their performance vehicles...

The gas springs are way too strong for the application. I complained to Redline after installing mine.
They were nice enough to send me a new pair of gas springs that were a little weaker. They work much better now. I'm surprised more people don't complain about this.
This is why i have not bought them. I saw the reviews of hard to close or too strong so it maid me hesitate. I have not had a need to be that open besides this mishap (https://www.ranger6g.com/forum/threads/rocks-in-engine-bay.26409/)

I still want them though ...

I'll try to do a video here soon to show how hard it is to close them (it's not hard at all) - someone else mentioned this was an issue too. in my albeit limited experience with them, they didn't feel overly powerful for the hood - certainly not even close to where I would be concerned of any damage.

I do have a contact there I can reach out to see if they may have made changes to this model after the first few complaints were made.

How long have you had them in? Holding up well still?
Put them on April last year and they are fine, granted I've only had my hood open maybe like 10 times since installing them.

Also I do not find it hard to close the hood at all.

Delivered, and they were so easy to install that even I was able to get it done, lol. Hood shuts fine with very little effort, and the hood/fender alignment is still good. My only disappointment is the Redline Tuning Stickers are not visible, but time will wear them off anyway so no big deal.

Nice work! I can't really think of any other part that I've installed that was easier to put in than these.

Good to hear! I'm confused about the hard to close complaints, but it is entirely possible they changed the springs. I reached out to Redline to see - who knows.

My theory is that, and I know first hand, many hoods are out of adjustment from the factory, I was having to practically slam my hood before adjusting it out and that was prior to adding the struts. Many others have experienced the same.

There are rubber bumpers you can screw in further to make it easier to close. It still takes a firm hand but certainly not a deal-breaker.
