Full Height Bed Racks???

I guess I should update. I got that rack on and it’s solid. The mounting areas don’t really line up with the stake pockets. When I first put it on it landed on one at the back of the bed and off the one near the cab. When I clamped it down it bent the shit out of the rail so I moved it to be half on both. Seems solid now!
I will be getting new mounting brackets to accommodate a tonneau cover.

here is the xtrusion rack for our trucks. 6th gen specific. this is 1 of 5 in the wild i’m told as i got the wide wing brackets for the tonneau. not fully bolted down if you look.
waiting on replacement stake pocket fillers for the rear as the ones they shipped are sized for the front. bolts to the inside of the bed so little weight is transferred to the rails.
full height is top of the shark fin.

i had a roll up, and it worked, but not well. did the job.
the right move is getting a retractable one.

I almost pulled the trigger on the Willmoso one yesterday, but the racks I'm finding for t slot rails aren't really making me go "truck yeah". I need to make a decision, but right now I'm strongly considering a custom built rack.

well, the good thing about this rack is it’s a one and done. you can resize it easily for a different truc
