Armourcaps Topper Installed. Non-modular solid stainless steel

Stainless steel non-modular topper. 100% solid unit designed and built in South Africa now with US distribution. This thing comes ready to drop on. Only thing to assemble are the accessories (like ceiling mount table storage tray, etc).

I met these guys a year ago and finally went for it and am very pleased. The only way water is going to get in is through the spaces in the bed, which I can plug. I already had a tailgate gasket from tonneau cover, but can see some areas to adjust. The topper is leak proof. Zero seams and beefy gaskets.

The sides have drip rails so water will flow over and not risk getting under the plastic bed cap.

Side doors have hidden hinges and channels water to the outsides and down over the drip rails. The doors can be opened and water will flow around.

The topper is bolted to the rated cleat points NOT bed rail clamps.

I opted for a roof rack, ceiling mount table storage, and side toolbox (didn’t have time to get toolbox installed yesterday).

Didn’t notice wind noise but do feel the weight at about 200#. Until I get a lift I may do an add-a-leaf to compensate and get some rake back.

The black & silver looks killer!

You wouldn’t happen to have a straight on profile pic near the tailgate would you? I’m interested in what the lean angle or lack of lean angle the rear of the canopy has from the perpendicular profile view.
Some of the pics it almost looks to lean back a bit, but that can’t be (it has to be perspective trickery). The angled side pic it looks to kick forward a bit. I’m just not looking for something that stands straight up like some do. Straight up at the rear of the canopy looks odd on these trucks - imo.

Blows RSI away in that it’s a solid, one piece cap. 770# dynamic load rating on roof rack, too. It really is a beast.

Not the same company. This one is a modular cap like RSI, OVS, etc. Armourcaps is one solid unit. No assembly.

As this is their first bulk delivery from containers they’re making great deals. I would call or email Michael (listed on their site) and I’m sure he’d work with you.

Again, I get no kickbacks or affiliation, I just haven’t come across a more robust topper with insightful engineering. So I’m recommending everywhere I can.

Agreed. There are trade offs but I felt this was the best built being solid and non-modular. They do have upgrades available, like toolbox, kitchen, etc. That said, there aren't many that make key fob locks.

Found some magnetic aerosol cans to hold my tie down straps and keep them organized and easily accessible.

Copied the tool list from Ford’s official tool roll accessory, added a lot of my own, and spent about $150, far cry from Ford’s $379 price, and now have a roadside tool kit.

I won the Rhino off-road recovery kit at an overland event. The side tool box is coming along. Need to add some emergency items and first aide.
