Learned yesterday that there is a couple more players involved in making these swaps happen then I was aware of before.

Maxlider / Juicy Motorsports / Stanghi /

Had a great conversation with Cody from Stanghi yesterday , turned out he not only is the guy that sorted out the computer programming needed for the 35 gallon fuel tanks discussed in this thread here.
https://www.stanghi.com/

Super sharp guy.

https://www.ranger6g.com/forum/thre...-500-miles-range-now.24090/page-7#post-405899

He is also the guy doing all the advanced programming needed to fully intergrated the Godzilla V8s for those Juicy / Maxlider Godzilla Bronco builds as well as my project i am working on here.

He had one of Maxlider’s Godzilla Swapped Bronco’s in his shop right now.

Seems it’s a big team effort making these dreams come true. More so then I had realized .

With as much as I'd like to be one of the early adopters for the Godzilla swap, I don't have the option of having a back up vehicle (outside of my motorcycle). So I'm using your build and experiences to gauge how and when I'm going to approach it.

So I've bookmarked this thread and the 35 gallon tank thread to keep notes.

I'm also hoping that someone will eventually try/attempt the 30 gallon tank swap, from the Global HD Ranger, and see if it could be a viable (maybe cheaper) option.

Awesome project. From the Bronco Godzilla swaps, the big Ranger-specific gotchas seem to be oil pan/front diff clearance and the steering shaft—plan on a low-profile pan and a remote filter, and test-fit manifolds early. If you keep the 10R80 to retain the Ranger t-case and mounts, make sure you’ve got a solid control strategy and check the condition (Ford Performance control pack for the engine plus a CAN gateway, and confirm 10R80 control—some folks report better luck with custom CAN solutions than off-the-shelf). Also budget for a bigger radiator and some front spring rate to handle the extra weight, and heat-shield the rack boots and brake booster area near the headers.

I am thinking with only 130-150lbs difference setting between or behind the front axle, may not need to mess with the spring rates. There is custom bumper and winch setups out there adding more weight than that all forward of the front axle.

I had read they used a Ranger Raptor's T-case and the electronic shifter from the Ranger Raptor, in creating those Bronco Godzilla Swaps.

I am sure there will still be some custom drive shafts and motor mounts needed.
Sounded like there were already kits out there for the relocation of some of the accessories.

Hope to be getting more details soon.

I think the Godzilla is narrower than the v6 so I can't imagine the exhaust giving them much trouble. I do there will be custom exhaust work done but have been assured the OEM functions like the adjustable exhaust valves for different DB levels will remain fully functional along with all other factory functions. Like the suspension, and steering etc etc .... All the Raptor features are supposed to remain fully functional.

I am hoping you can join in the fun someday. Always nice to have others to compare notes with etc. etc.

Depending on how much I like how this first one turns out. Cost , reliability, etc. etc. etc.
If it is as good as factory and no issues, and cost comes in where I am hoping it does.
I am very likely going to be also doing the same Godzilla swap to one of my white RRs.

Thanks!

I am really looking forward the next and final phase of the build. The engine swap phase.
Still not real sure about the timeline for this next phase. I am anxiously awaiting more info on when they can get started on the swap.

I believe is 4th partner in brining these swaps to life.

Now I am still trying to figure out who does exactly what ?

Stanghi I know is in charge of Tuning.

I believe either Stamperbuilt or Juicy is doing the actual engine conversion / swap work and fabrication portion.

Maxlider Brothers part is a little un clear maybe just the marketing business side of team.

Very much looking forward to learning more about who exactly is is doing what , when and where.

Did a little short walk around video of the project truck in its current state.
Pretty much done and waiting on the engine swap.

It’s already a good looking truck. I’m enjoying watching this project develop. I’m sure you are way more anxious than the rest of us, to see and hear the new motor in your truck.

Update:
In my attempt to continue to get more info, I did find out last week Juicy motor sports is parted ways with the group. Not getting much info from Maxlider, other then I think they still seem to be working Stamperbuilt.

Those two seem to still be hooked up with Stanghi for the tunning.

I am still in communications with both.
Waiting eagerly to learn more about who can actually pull off the conversion and when.

As of last week, there seemed like there was some hope to potentially get started sooner than August. Maybe much sooner, which would likely mean mine would become the test mule and be the first RR Godzilla conversion ever done. Not exactly sure how I feel about that. LOL

Waiting on more details.

Thats good and bad. If its the first one its pretty cool. Even though they wont have done multiple to get any kinks worked out it seems like theyve done enough of the broncos to have a pretty good idea of what they are doing
