2026 USA RAPTOR fitment issue Fabulous Fab Airbox

I’m guessing this is yet another change that went unnoticed for the USA 2026 model. There is a different OEM airbox bracket than what I saw on ty Fenwick‘s install video. There is also different bracing along the front corner and wiring loom hold down in the way. Made a 20 minute install take an extra 30-40 minutes. I cut a small notch to clear the bracing with a grinder and just pulled the wiring push pin out of the way. I will go back later and cut the oval hole for the push pin so it can be mounted in the factory location.

Might as well, I have only seen the Aus Raptor engine bay from YouTube. I’m sure there are a few differences from the US version.

Hey Guys,

Nelson from Fabulous Fabrications here, Thank you for sending me a link to this forum post and alerting us to the changes made on some of the USA Ranger Raptors. As much as we thought the Ranger Raptor was meant to be a Globally Universal Platform, (minus LHD vs RHD changes) it appears this brace is going to make things interesting for us.

We've now heard of two vehicles that have encountered this issue, so i appreciate you giving it a go to make it fit. I've passed that information onto our other customer and he was happy to do the same thing. Using your measurements (and thank you for showing this in Metric units), we can probably make some easy adjustments to our bracket to allow for the variation with the US Model. But that only helps us on the Cold Air Intake Version for future orders.

I'm going to try and get some measurements and reference points, and if you guys are willing to help, we will try and work something out to make sure the inlet for our Snorkel version isn't going to be completely blocked by that extra brace that you have both found on your models.

Thank you again for bringing this to our attention so we can address it before it becomes too big of a problem.
