Fun road but with school buses, kids and hidden driveways I'd seen already, was staying right on the speed limit. MUST play back at 2x speed if you watch though. Love to get this road to myself in either the Raptor or the ol' GT350 and then it would be like a carnival ride!. Wouldn't have been anything worth hearing so I don't have the remote mic set up for exhaust sounds.

Before I even looked at your profile I said to myself that the road reminded me of the two-lane roads in Monmouth County I ride on when visiting family. Enjoy the scenery.

I didn't watch all of it, got bored. But the back roads of central Va. are very fun!

Darn kids and their short attention spans!
Kidding; it is certainly not exciting, but played at 2x speed it's nearly watchable if only for the curvy roads with a little elevation change here and there. This is near Kinnelon, NJ where we're house-sitting. We do have some decent roads around home in Phillipsburg, NJ as well, little higher speed, little less in the way of kids, driveways, low speed limits.

These are actually North and West of New York City in Kinnelon, NJ. I don't get to Monmouth too often, I didn't know they had similar roads?

I have a couple roads around here that make having hot hatch or roadster worth the cost of entry, but the roads along the TN/NC border are, by far, the best driving roads in the US.

Isn't "the tail of the dragon" in that area?

It crosses the state line. It's a fun drive from Tellico Plains, TN to Cherokee, NC via the Cherohala Skyway and, IIRC, NC 121. Deals Gap is about in the middle of that drive, and heads back into TN before you turn around and do it reversed.

I'm not young. The elevation change around here can be 300+ feet in less than a mile. And curvy. You'd dig it.

Been there :)
My uncle and aunt live in a little town on Watts Bar lake about an hour west of the Tennessee end of the dragon and the skyway. They used to camp at Indian boundaries camp ground off the skyway. Beautiful place and fun drives, both.
