Nacho Grande Lights Installed

Did you @m.j.fry or @blu77 try to mount them via the tube mounts? Or is the Foutz light bar too big in diameter? I was really hoping that when I go this route I could end up with a staggered double row.

@RRaptorscallion0331 I think the Foutz bar was too wide to be able to do this.

An update now and word of caution with the Nacho Grande lights. One of my four Nacho lights failed. I had sent videos back and forth to their customer support team showing that the wire was able to power other lights…Ultimately they stopped replying and didn’t honor their lifetime warranty.

Swapped the lights for Baja Designs LP4s and have been incredibly happy with the quality and ease of install!

Hey! Thank you for the reply and bummer about Nacho, thought their whole thing was “buy from us! we’re the good guys”? Save $100 per light just to have to buy BDs later.. I wish that wasn’t the case but I’ve heard it so many times… I appreciate you sharing the first hand experience… at least now you have reliability and the forever warranty

This is very odd. I have some Nacho’s and their customer service has been outstanding. Were you talking with Justin at nacho? Also, when was this?

@jordantii This was about a month ago. At first, communication was great with Justin. I shipped the light back to them and they were on it with a diagnosis, stating that they had to adjust the voltage parameters via a software update. I’m not sure why the light had to be updated like that in the first place when it had historically been working fine. Got the light back from Nacho and was still unable to get it to light up.

I sent multiple videos to Justin showing the wire to that specific light being able to power the other surrounding lights. They didn’t seem like they wanted to believe that the light could be faulty and eventually, I never heard back from them.

Not here to slam any brands, but this was my experience. Having heard good things about Baja Designs and their warranty, it felt like the right move for me. Just don’t want anyone to have to go through the same experience.
