Im 99% certain that Bilstein doesn't have a shock for the G6 Ranger. I saw a guy that got an official email from Bilstein saying they are not offering a shock yet as they haven't fully tested the G5 set ups against the G6.
The Eibach 2.0 Pro Truck system with the rear reservoirs is the way to go (currently out of stock until June 5 - they go FAST).
FOX is too soft and Bilstein is harsh as eff.
After a TON of research and talking to people who have had both Bilstein and Eibach, I'm going Eibach. Even if Bilstein was available, they aren't superior unless youre doing a TON of towing or high speed off roading.
For everyone else, it seems the Eibach are the better play.
Here's my take on lifting and UCAs. Anything 2" and above should get UCAs. Sure, it my be able to be aligned, but it's going to limit the ball joint movement vs what it was designed to. A 2" lift means that full droop of the suspension WILL be reduced and that ball joint will be the part that...
I'd just get longer bolts and install it. Get stainless so they dont rust. They wont be under much sheer stress so no need to worry about specs. Once you clamp them down, the physics of friction will keep the plates from moving and again, those bolts aren't gonna take much sheer stress
Be careful with the bottom clips. I broke one when removing the grille. Once the edges of the grill in the headlights are free, its best to pull the bottom STRAIGHT out starting at one side and working to the other.
