I guess we are all different, but I'm 5'11" and 190 lbs and just went on a 900 mile 2 day trip in my 2025 XLT FX4 with the 2.7L. I find the seats to be perfectly fine.
Hopefully you can grab that RR if you like it better!
Today I drove about 650 miles. Houston to OKC then back down to Dallas. Obviously all highway.
I have a 2025 XLT FX4 2.7L with the Advanced Tow Package. The temps (engine and oil) never went about 1/2 way. 🤷♂️
Ok - ALL Rangers have Sync4a. XL to Raptor. The 4a is specific for all Ford vehicles that have a vertical oriented screen (Mach e, Ranger, Expedition, etc..)
4a is because, unlike the F150, the vertical screen can be set up with movable tiles and other customer driven customizations.
So, we ALL...
All Rangers have Sync4A. I have confirmed this on the Ford website and with my local dealer (Planet Ford - top 3 Ford dealer in the nation).
I have an XLT witj the smaller screen and have 4A.
The Tremor and RR aren't really the same vehicles. But, glad you got some time to put the RR through its paces and you love it! The Desert Sand color grew on me and I'm now glad I've got it.
Im thinking about having the top of the cab wrapped in black to break up the color a bit though.
I haven't yet gotten a set for my Ranger, but theres a huge difference between the cheap ones and the billet aluminum ones. Not saying one has to spend $1500+, but the performance and longevity and weight isn't the same.
To your point, most people here dont need $1500 UCAs, but if they are...
Congrats! I too have a 2025 Desert Sand XLT. Agree that it rides well for a truck even with the FX4 setup.
Love the DS color! The only thing that's a drawback is that black is the only color that works well with it.
Enjoy and happy modding!
