First, thank you for posting. I use the same UOA service, but am holding off testing for break in. I have 550 miles on my 2.7. Amsoil SS is a really good choice, I changed my oil to PUP. Seems there is a few obvious manufacturing leftovers in the first sample and nice to see the trend follow...
It is very selective on what you can and cannot use. And full power is in Park, shared power in Drive. Check the owner's manual out for 120V power. Apparently not a true sine wave AC.
My software update 26C10 did not automatically download but the Ford app had a notice on it to schedule an appointment. So Monday will take it in. They download via OBD port.
Wix has a Skyactiv oil filter, 57002. Made in Mexico. Maybe the same as that middle one. (-MV) The rest will fit but not approved by Mazda. I have used all three, present stocked up on Tokyo Roki.
I have a 2019, first year of ND-2 Miata. Skyactiv turbo and non-turbo Mazda Skyactiv oil filters here:

My Miata is specific. There are only specific Mazda and one Wix that works correctly with the Skyactiv due to the oil system 2 stage PSI. For my 2.7 EB I am going to use a synthetic media filter over a cellulose media. It has a finer filter and better flow. There is always a plus and minus here...
The oil at the sump has a screen filter before the oil pump, the main oil filter and then that turbo oil filter screen. The main oil filter usually has a bypass and the sump screen filter is for larger debris. Sure, add it to the list to do.
The point to make regardless what EcoBoost engine is on the 500,000 teardown is his description of HNBR wet belts and the SP/SQ oil standards to keep them working. His statement is as long as this oil is used there will be zero issues as long as normal OCI. Add to that the Ford standards are...
Check out the similarities on this video.
Just did my first oil change and installed a drain valve.
The valve is a copy of the Ronin valve. Well built.
I actually bought the Supertech filter and used Kirkland 5 quarts to clean out the engine for 10 minute engine run. Drained that oil, then...
I have the 2.7 and yet to tow with it. Do have the advanced tow. The reason I picked the 2.7 is the reliability is proven in the 150 for 10 years and with the dual injection. The 2.3 has dual injection but not the track record and parts available.
I think you gotta catch the uptick in the times and know when to swing over to the dependable side. Actually the old “fix or repair daily” is a good thing for us. It keeps Ford on its toes. Never understood the Ford or Chevy debate from the hard core, its market timing. When Ecoboost was just...
More info on the 2.7 Ecoboost. Scroll down to the 2.7 for details. Agree that He is not an engineer and the oil pump belt did not cause the issue.

The question is in my view, did the owner of the engine cause the failure? Suppose he ran...
I have a Fram Synthetic Ultra oil filter in right now and Pennzoil Ultra Platinum 5w30. Purchase the oil in bulk, it's cheaper. The cheapest combo on good oil and filter is Kirkland oil when on sale and WalMart Supertech 11955 oil filters. Agree regular oil changes Trumps the latest, greatest Ultra.
Found a way to put that small o ring on with two #2 screwdrivers. Just squeeze the handles.
Also the 2.7 has “clear flood mode”. By flooring the accelerator pedal and cranking the engine via starter, the oil system will fill.
The 2.7 has been around for 10 years.
I bet that they improved that wet belt since then...
At 40:50 is the inspection of the wet belt for the oil pump.
My point is when the policy was made I did make it known not to do that. Once I changed my email using "Hide my email" according to the form I need to send them another block on that email. The privacy agreement was for the policy, not the email. Everyone is different and have different...
