I just purchased a 2024 lariat with a 2.7 L. The oil pressure varies from just under 1/4 on the gauge at idle to over the 1/2 mark at 65mph. I have never noticed this on my other vehicles. Is this normal?

My 2.3L 2024 Lariat does the same thing. I've noticed that it fluctuates under various conditions.
Any change in engine load, i.e accelerating, climbing a hill and such.
Also it's higher when the engine is cold and lowers as the engine gets to operating temperature.

Yep, normal operation as IIRC is a variable pressure oil pump, and I think that's how it actuates the cam phasers.
