I am curious if anyone has the Borla exhaust, or the Ford Performance exhaust made by Borla. How do you like it. The Borla site clips sound like they did a poor job recording it. I like its dual pipes over the Ford Performance . I think SPD is coming out with a option down the road too. What are others doing

I installed the Ford Performance exhaust last month. Workmanship is excellent. I have the single exit (high clearance) version. Although the pipe has what looks like "mufflers", in actuality everything is straight-thru. The sound isn't too loud if you're just cruising or not stomping on the throttle, but it's still a bit too loud for my taste. But I'm an old fart. YMMV.

I received one of the first true Borla dual exhaust systems and cannot be happier. Being able to choose my gearing by sound and not just leaving it in Drive is music to my ears. I too am an old fart.....but an old-school motor head fart. ALL my vehicles have enhanced exhaust systems which I show off regularly when pulling up to electric vehicles.

Has anyone had a custom exhaust made? If so which mufflers and resonators did you use

Magnaflow has a cat back system, all 3" piping. Around same price as the Borla

P/N: 19663.

Circling back on this . Im thinking of going custom with a trombone loop and a few straight through mufflers . Not sure if i need resonators or not.

That may depend on your choice of mufflers. There are several YouTube videos of stock 2.7 F150s with resonator deletes. Most claimed very minor sound change and didn’t mention any drone issues. Good luck with your choices.
