2.7L electronic wastegate squeak/Chirp

Has anyone else dealt with this? Doesn’t affect drive ability, just super annoying… seems to start when truck is fully warm (15 minutes)

Yep! my 2024 Ranger XLT does it and it's annoying to say the least. Happens for the first 10 min or so after the first start of the day. Dealer said it's totally normal. Sounds like a grinding and a potential failure to me, but I guess they know more than me/us. My buddies comment on it all the time asking when it's going to break or fall apart. Doesn't seem to effect the performance, just annoying.

my 2.7 doesn't sounds like that.

I'm pretty sure mine does it. I've never tried to go after it or anything, but I drive down to the 4th level of a parkade, windows normally down. It's when I'm just getting on the throttle I hear the little high pitched noise that goes away as I apply more throttle. Doesn't seem to have any negative effects for now, but who knows.
