2024 Ranger Scheduling This Week (2/22/24) for Production Weeks 4/1 - 4/22

My original Ranger Raptor order was added to order bank on 5/27/2023 as a stock unit. After waiting 8 months I placed a formal complaint to Ford about their ordering process and allocation system. A short time later (1/25/24) the dealer placed another order for me as a retail unit.
Low and behold I get an email from Ford this morning with a production date of April 8th for the retail unit.
Dealer told me they may end up getting the stock unit also.
I guess it pays to complain!!!!

I think my order was originally stock as well. I called Ford in July, asking for an order confirmation. They told me to call my dealer to make sure they input my email. They input my email and I received an order confirmation in August.

Kinda worried that my dealer will try something sketchy. The guy who helped me with my order no longer works there but we had agreed on MSRP, which I confirmed through text.

Just got my build date today.
Ranger Raptor in shelter green with spray in bed liner. Ordered in western Canada in June with a build date April 8th.

Same....confirmation email received today. Build date week of April 8th. Raptor ordered 7-26, in NC. Thank goodness!!

I would think that since the unscheduled order bank this week had less than the monthly capacity that every clean order with an allocation should be scheduled now through April.

Did you complain through Ford Chat? I've about had it with hearing about orders placed late in the year and getting scheduled vs those of us wiating 6 months or longer....

Yes, I filed a formal complaint using Ford chat and they gave me a case no. I discussed it with the dealer and they suggested that I call customer service which I did and gave them the case no. They said they would turn it over to a team to handle. That was the only reply I got.

Just chatted with ford. My truck was ordered 5/27 and still not scheduled. I don't think my dealer changed it from a stock order to a retail order after taking my license and deposit along with having sign the build form.

all customer orders for Raptors were converted to Retail orders - each dealer getting 1 allocation. Then they'll open it up. So i had one order number and now i have a retail order.

After a huge debacle I finally have a build date for a truck. Initially placed my order on 5/30 but according to the dealership, Ford corporate submitted a "VIP order" on 8/18 that took priority. Who knows if that story is actually true or if the dealership pulled a quick one on me. Regardless, the VIP customer backed out and they were able to update that truck to my specifications, plus the spray-in liner that they weren't able to remove. At delivery I'll kindly ask them to cover the cost of the spray-in liner for the hassle I've been put through. Feels good to hopefully have an end in sight.

And I'm not paying any dealer add ons either Mofos trying to add a tip to vehicle sales now, f all that lol
