completely missed that. Thanks.Read the #1 post in this thread as it is explained there.
It is now apparent that build dates which we look for like they mean something, they really mean nothing! my order build date keeps getting pushed out week after week, one that was scheduled to be built feb 26 has now been pushed out to April 8, an 8 week delay, one that was scheduled to be built on feb 28 has been pushed out to 3/15, as the dates get close they just push further out. After a huge debacle I finally have a build date for a truck. Initially placed my order on 5/30 but according to the dealership, Ford corporate submitted a "VIP order" on 8/18 that took priority. Who knows if that story is actually true or if the dealership pulled a quick one on me. Regardless, the VIP customer backed out and they were able to update that truck to my specifications, plus the spray-in liner that they weren't able to remove. At delivery I'll kindly ask them to cover the cost of the spray-in liner for the hassle I've been put through. Feels good to hopefully have an end in sight.

That’s certainly frustrating! My order tracker has been steady for the week of 4 March. I reached out to my dealer and he told me 25 March. I then jumped on Ford Chat and they said it’s scheduled to be built on 5 March, next Tuesday. So I have no idea whether I’ve been pushed back or not! I guess when I get notice it’s at the dealer, then it’s for certain! It is now apparent that build dates which we look for like they mean something, they really mean nothing! my order build date keeps getting pushed out week after week, one that was scheduled to be built feb 26 has now been pushed out to April 8, an 8 week delay, one that was scheduled to be built on feb 28 has been pushed out to 3/15, as the dates get close they just push further out.
lets remember that most of us have had these orders in place for 6 months and longer lets remember that not one truck has been delivered to any of the dealerships, just completly abusive. some would say that ford is in business to sell trucks and cars and they do not get paid until they ship, and I do acknowledge that, but come on Ford!
I was scheduled for week of 4 march but just got bumped to 11 march. So be worried. That’s certainly frustrating! My order tracker has been steady for the week of 4 March. It’s no biggie either way. I think I’d be less frustrated knowing it was built and Ford finally started shipping these things than knowing it was built and parked in a lot!I was scheduled for week of 4 march but just got bumped to 11 march. So be worried.
My order is pretty much the same as yours, Dealer tried to talk me out of the chrome package and out of the bed spray liner, he said those two things were a problem, I really want the chrome package on this one, my last 2 rangers did not have it, I will go to Linex if I have to to get the spray, spoke to them today and I find that Linex is double the price of ford at $900Ordered late December and just got a text that shows scheduled build date of April 15. Lariat 4X2, locking diff, chrome package, running boards and tow hitch.
I also noticed that numerous people have been scheduled for 4/8 (including me). I bet it is just a placeholder. My guess is that the majority of those scheduled for that date will get bumped to an earlier or later date as we get closer.Seems to be a lot of scheduling for 4/8, my 21 lariat order was never up to date and then one day it showed at the dealer, I’m expecting my R Raptor to be the same.
