2024 XLT Tailgate.Seals

Not sure why Ford did not install seals on the tailgate.
Just took a long trip across the US hitting some brown out dust storms.
I have a Softopper installed. Most of the dust intrusion is from around the gaps in the tailgate.
Shopping seal kits.
Just seeing what experience you all are having with the kits you installed? Good, bad, seal bonding not good etc.
Did a search here and see Keko, Real Truck kits installed.

This is an Aussie joint, really good install. never had an issue. not sure if they ship over tho...
But I definitely recommend! took 20 mintues to install myself, and never had dust inside since

Thanks, I have a Spray in Liner so doesn't appear it would work.
Probably cost more to ship it then the cost of the item.

I did buy the 1 from Keko. Haven't installed it yet. It does look like a pretty good product. Pretty sure it was talked about here. Maybe do a search?

Looks like they only ship to Australia and New Zealand.

$161 USD is rather absurd for that kit.

I installed the Keko last weekend. Seals up tight. Well made. Downside is the seal is on the gate vs the bed, which could be pulled up accessing gear in and out. Mindful and not a problem.

Includes a bolt on bracket to complete the bedside seal for 1/3 the price of the Ausie model. I would love that one, but didn’t want to spend that much.

What size is that torx bolt? Mine has 1 torx and 1 regular bolt for the bracket.
