2025 Ford Ranger Emblem Insert.

I see there are a few posts about the Ford emblems being replaced, I have a 2025 XL. I wanted to do black/gun metal. But anyways my question is does the inner oval pry out with a nylon pry tool, and if so does anyone sell just an insert that pops back in its place. Thanks!

Ya just don't know how they are put together. There is the outer oval that seems to be attached to the grill/tailgate. But I can get a small nylon pry under the inner oval and it feels like it should pop out. Not sure if it does, that's kind of what I'm wondering I guess. If the inner oval pops out it seems someone could make inserts that just pop in. For obvious reasons I don't want to pry mine out and break something without knowing.

I do like the look of that one though!

I had not heard about this, so I went looking and I found the CarScoops article where this image came from. I snorted my coffee when I read how "it would take some kind of impatient business brat with an inexplicable obserssion over the letter X to throw away that kind of brand recognition..." I actually do like the change. I had hard time telling the difference until I saw them next to each other.

On mine stock the outer oval is shiny silver and the background is brighter blue. In the pic the outer is a flat or brushed gray and background is black or dark blue. Noticeable to me.

I was going to say the same thing, we have a fleet BAP F150 and it has the new emblem and the same year in non BAP and the emblem is blue.

Not sure what to say. Ford made a somewhat big deal about the new emblem in 2024, then seems to have slow rolled the introduction.

Sorry to inform you they do not just pop out at least my 25s did not. Rear, pull access plate off tailgate for access. There are several Plastic pins with a metal retainer holding them in from the back. You have to very carefully get behind it and pop/break the pins or remove the whole grill emblem outer for access or the grill itself and cut the small retainer. Try and look behind yours with a mirror for your particular retaining situation. I just broke the pins my self starting with the single pin side. and double sided taped and silicone back on. Mine the pins held the whole chrome part emblem in (Correction some of my sentence went bye bye) the ring clips were not easily accessible like the ring Ford pictures with clip notches on ring. Plastic tools necessary to prevent scratching. Hope this helps. Ranger On!

Perfect! Thank you for the detailed response. May see what kind of life I get from one of the better decal covers and then try the actual replacement if those don't hold up.
