2025 FX4 2.3 with standard 8" instrument cluster. ~6k miles. I just happened to be driving and had the additional gauges open showing boost, oil pressure, trans temp. When I accelerated, the oil pressure gauge dropped to basically zero. When I let off the gas pedal, the pressure comes back up. I have never had a vehicle act in this manner. Has anyone else seen this behavior from their truck?

While oil pressure is variable and controlled by the ECU. I don't think it should be going to zero.
IIRC, varying oil pressure is to control the cam phasers, which adjusts cam timing.

You should Not experience Zero oil pressure while engine is running. Verify with Forscan and see, might just be a glitch/sensor etc.... if not, there's a problem hiding! I'd make this an immediate attention task! :like:

I checked on my way how. Floored in Sport mode, oil pressure stayed about halfway up.
First thing to check is engine oil level, you might be low, starving the pump at high RPM.
