Hi, id like to introduce myself. Ive had my truck for almost a year now and want to put all the updates and pictures I have done somewhere so I can look back. Ive done alot to the truck and I absolutely love it. If you see anything ive done and want to ask questions, feel free to message me. Ive had some help from people on here and its been awesome. Thank you guys! Anyways, here she is.

This is the day they sent me pictures after waiting 8+ months for my order. I fell in love right away.
Ford Ranger 2025 Marsh Gray XLT 2.7L build 2051

One of the first upgrades I did was the grill lights and vent lights. I also put led brake lights, reverse lights, 3rd brake light, basically all the outside lights. I also got it tinted.

I also got the seat covers, tonneau cover, and bug shield all done right away as well.

The weekend I picked up the truck, I took my wife on an anniversary trip and drove 1500+ miles. It was comfortable and amazing. Then we came home and I installed the leveling kit and the wheels and tires. 285/70/17 with +12 offset on the rocktrix wheels. Here's a before and after.

At this point, I was so happy with how my truck was looking. I was ready to go upnorth, (I live in michigan) and hit the trails. So I did exactly that. We loaded up the popup, headed north for 5 hours. She towed perfect. We had a blast!

I also didn't like the exhaust hanging put of the back so I did the mbrp exhaust where it dumps in front of the rear axle. Another thing is did with the exhaust was the s&b cold air intake! Man I love this 2.7l motor!

One issue i realized with towing was when I had the bed loaded with firewood, and my trailer connected, my backend sagged. Now, I know that's because I put the leveling kit on but still, I wanted to correct this. I'm waiting to install them for this year but I ended up buying air bags. Another thing is that I did not order my truck with the tow package like a dummy... so, I was using a Bluetooth brake controller. It worked well for me but im planning on keeping this truck. So I went on a mission to install an aftermarket trailer brake. Well, I did it. I was able to, with some help from this forum, wire in a brake controller into the factory harness and wire up and install a factory oem 7 way plug. And it works!

also, after my trip upnorth, i had a little to much fun on the trails. I ended up scratching my truck all up. I wasnt happy but i ended up getting ceramic coating. It looked like new again! I also got the undercarriage sprayed to protect from the salt in the winter. I also noticed that with the tires offset, I was getting alot of spray up the side of the truck and all over my trailer. I know that's a trade off with bigger tires but I decided I wanted to try and fix it a little bit. I ended up getting the husky rvl fender flares and installed them. And they are flush with my tires and I think they look great! Very happy with how they turned out. So with all that being said, this is what my truck currently is sitting at waiting for the air bags to be installed and a swing case tool box for the bed. I have a few more things I want to get but they can wait.

If you read all that, wow. Thanks. I'm just trying to keep track of everything I did... any questions, just ask! I'm sure I'm missing a few things. I'll try to remember or as I install more stuff, I'll update or reply to this!

I read all that! : )
Nicely done, the flares look especially good with the Marsh Grey/BAP. That’s the color/package I have, fun to know what it might look like 👍
Great write up!

That looks amazing. Nice work!
Did the fender flairs come with the lights, or did you add those?

Lots of great work there!

Can I ask about this:

"So I went on a mission to install an aftermarket trailer brake. Well, I did it. I was able to, with some help from this forum, wire in a brake controller into the factory harness and wire up and install a factory oem 7 way plug"

Which brake controller did you get? Looks like RedARC.
Where did you get OEM 7-pin plug? Did you have to replace entire bumper harness, or just the pigtail from harness to 4-way?

Looks great! Did you throw any codes with the S&B CAI? Dry or oiled filter? Any issues with the install? I have been looking at this mod; I've never had one.

What level kit did you use? I didn't see the specs anywhere in your posts. Thanks

I did go with the redarc. As far as the oem 7 way plug, I went on ebay and got one for like 25 bucks. Cheapest place I found it. And as for the wiring, I ended up buying the curt wiring that plugs into our factory plug in the back, I ended up unplugging the oem plug, cutting the wires and taking the plug apart, I then matched the blue brake wire and black 12v wire to the correct locations on the curt plug, put them in and plugged it in. Everything works except the reverse lights, I didn't even try to wire that in. If you have any more in depth questions, feel free to dm me! I can take pictures best I can for you.

Install was great, super easy. I went with the dry filter just for ease of cleaning and not having to deal with the oil and no codes! All good!

That seems the way others have done it. I still don't get why they can't supply a 7-pin and harness that's already has all the wires and connector to fit the harness at the bumper.

I looked and looked. I heard that the gen 5s had one for their trucks but not for gen 6s. I dont get it either. Maybe I should start making them... lol.

Looks awesome! You've been busy! I'm the same way LOL. I'll have a post of all the things I've done in the 1st month of owning my Ranger. I'm just waiting to get some new tires to fill out my fender flares (I got the same ones). I'm getting the same size tires so it's cool to see how the wheels look with a different offset. I'm doing a +20 offset so it should sit nicely with those flares.
