2025 Ranger Lariat 2.7 on hold for over 2 months!

Hello!

I live in BC. I ordered a 2025 Ranger Lariat V6 in January that went into product on March 19th. All my dealer can tell me is that it’s on hold still and it’s approaching the 2 month mark it’s been in that status with no updates. I’ve asked for updates as to why or when to expect my new truck but I have gotten no where.

Anyone have any insight on this? Anyone else experiencing delays like this? Thank you in advance for your help!

Where in BC? I work on the North Shore they have 2 at the dealer here i just test drove one on Saturday.

Mine RR has been on a "Quality Hold - unshippable" for 8 weeks now. Dealer can't provide me with no further information. At this point I am going to pass on it.

The one I ordered sat in Detroit for 9 months. Arrived damaged. I did not buy it. Hope your situation turns out better.

Holy Moly Unacceptable... mine is ordered a few months back and the pictures they sent me it looks good. Ill post as soon as oi purchase if its good to go

I'm in Newfoundland & Labrador and have been waiting since the last of March, estimated delievery has been pushed at least a half dozen times and is now June 22-28. There were a few Lariat's here but they had the 2.3 and I wanted the 2.7

My 2025 2.7 Lariat was ordered first week in Feb, went into production on 24 May, but not actually built until 17 Jun. It shipped on 22 Jun and is now due for delivery within the next two weeks. Only thing I heard on the slight production delay allegedly had to do with the 2.7L. A nearly identical 2.3 ordered after mine was already apparently delivered.

So this is rather common. Most likely either an option you wanted is on back order or there is an actual issue with the truck and due to parts shortages its sitting. The dealer cant get nay magical update beyond what they are already telling you unfortunately. I know a bunch of early 24 RR got stuck like this for a long time but I believe all eventually shipped. A lot of folks walked away, and some waited.

Your only option currently is to wait or walk.

My truck’s blend date was 6/5. It went into “production” on 6/6 and on 7/8 it’s still showing as “in production”. Dealer says VINview is listing it as “On Hold” with no reason given.

I’m currently without a vehicle, so I’m obviously a bit frustrated. A little bit of transparency from Ford would go a long way. I’m about ready to go test drive an AT4 at this point.
