Nothing is wrong with the frames Steel, just some old man musing.
This is why i hate forums. Some guy, who has exactly '0' information on the metal, tests, engineering, eats a taco and farts out some incoherent opinion based on ballon animals analysis, and people listen. I call giant bucket of know nothing here. Bye.

The 2.7 offers 45 more Hp and an additional 90 lb-ft of torque compared to the 2.3. The 1 MPG reduction in fuel economy is minuscule. I currently have the 2.7 in my Lincoln. It's an excellent motor. Indeed, the clear winner.
Ford performance Tune has the 2.3 at 330HP and 385T. Also has a robust timing Chain instead of a wet belt, a single Turbo, and a Proven bulit proof design. Can't say that about the 2.7.
