Greetings and happy holidays,
I recently got a new Ranger Raptor from an out of state dealer. Unfortunately I did not get the white card with a code. One of the sales guys was able to provide me the keypad door code which worked for the keypad, but I can't program my own door code, nor can I access the factory code for the vehicle on the infotainment screen.
I checked the BCM KIT Assembly under the driver dash and the Key Code: is blank... No card in the fuse area under the dashboard either.
I went to my local dealer, and they were not able to get the factory code.
I called Ford support, who suggested I try the 2 key fob method (didn't work for me). They said I can go to another dealer and have them try, but key retrieval is with a fee. The other option is to replace the keypad (out of pocket)...
Do you guys have any suggestions? I saw some posts about it in another thread and some other Ford vehicles with a similar issue on Facebook, but no clear answers.
