Mine has never done that either. I would be really alarmed if it did and more if it did it regularly

I’ve been parking mine in the driveway and setting the e brake. I hold the brake place in park then pull e brake before releasing the brake pedal. Never had this. I thought i had the pop or whatever noise a few times but discovered it’s my grill shutters changing.

I’ve experienced the issue to which you are referring. It’s not all the time. Very intermittent. May do it a couple times in a week, then may not do it for over a month or more. Only happens on start up when it does occur. I’ve had my truck for 7 months and put 5,500 miles on it. Truck drives great and shifts like butter though.
I haven’t heard it in over a month now. But if I had to guess I’d say it’s done it 20 times since I bought it. Sometimes it’s light and not real noticeable, and a couple times it’s kind of gnarly sounding. I was able to capture one of the worse ones on video though.
