I weigh 210 pounds and am almost to 5000 miles on my 25 RR and the seats look just as good as when I bought the truck. I love them. Maybe I'm just lucky?
Same. I'm 220lbs and have 19k miles and look almost new still on my 2024 RR

Great idea! Did you have to remove the seat to install the plastic strips or were you able to fish it through from underneath?
Just saw this, I did not remove the seats. That’s why I cut them in 4 inch wide strips (4x12). I probably could have gone wider and still slid them in.

From the back I just unhooked one piece of elastic that holds the back flap down and used a couple fingers to make a gap between the metal and the foam and slid them right in and slid them into position where I wanted them. Quick and easy.

Here is what I suggest. This is obviously a problem. I called the Ford Customer care line today anfd informed them of my seat problem, and glove box key. They then created a case number and took my dealer info. When I go to the dealer I give them FORDs case number. This lets the dealer know that ford is going to be interfacing and working with the dealerto help solve the problem. They cant fix what they dont know.
YOU ALL NEED to DO this so ford comes up with their own towel fix
(800) 392-3673 good luck.... if it looks this bad now wait till i'm done paying for it. There is strength in numbers!!!
They already know about the seat. They arent going to change it till there is a refresh though. Also if you condition the leather it doesnt wrinkle or sag as bad and looks normal.

3000 miles on these seats. They seem to be wearing okay. Not nearly the same quality as my Volvo but that’s to be expected. I think the seats would have to get much worse for me to seek a warranty replacement or Katzkin covers.

Hit with leather conditioner and they will not crease as bad and such.

Thanks it moves 1/8 turn will check it out
My key was very stiff as well. I learned on the forum how to fix it. Take pliers and turn the key till it works. Then cycle a few times. I was worried about breaking key in lock but it didn’t happen.
