2025 XLT with a A.R.E. CX Classic truck cap installed

when I looked at a 2024 RR August 2024, the bed plug has it at 12V 180W, that what 15amps? you can buy thr panel, but ford jacked the price up, they are also only on while the key is on, you can apparently change the timeout for the cig lighters/120v in forscan.

and you dont have the inverter? but have all the wiring? thats weird. lol look under the driver front seat and see if you have the inverter. do you have a 110v plug in the back seat?

on the 25's we only got the 110v in the bed, but the 12v is there 2 feet away. lol

Im thinking I might get the panel with my tax return the spring....

Definitely no inverter and no 120 volt in the back seat, just a USB outlet on the back of the console and a 12V socket inside the console. Looks like all the wiring is in place though.

If I do the socket I'll just drill a hole in the blank plate and use one of these:

PS I wonder if my Bedrug will have a cutout there?

I ordered my A.R.E today, MX series with mid rise, 2 Windoors, tilting and sliding rear window, Yakima roof rails and Bedrug liner. Should take about 8 weeks for delivery. Below are some computer generated images. BTW RealTruck owns A.R.E. now.

Looks really nice! What did you do in the bed, full Bedrug and a floor liner on top of it?

Right now it still has my ford bed mat in there.
‘I am probably going to take that mat out and put in a thinner mat with shoulders on it.

They said my Ford cargo management kit would not work.
Bed-rug mentions the cargo management kit in the bedrug instalation manual and says it is compatible.

So right now I am thinking they got behind and just didn’t want to screw with it,
They called me at 3:30 and said they were behind,.don’t come to pick it up till closer to 5pm.

I'm thinking a cargo tray type liner is a good plan with a full Bedrug instead of putting down cardboard every time you want to haul something dirty.

I will get more detailed pics, when I get back home. I had it for around 30 min between picking it up from the topper dealer and taking it back to get the wrap work finished.

I have to make up my mind between a cab height and a mid-rise. No roof rack planned. I wish someone with a mid rise would post a pic.

I did spot another members truck today in an unrelated thread, that does have a mid-rise guessing a LEER topper on a 6th gen Ranger.

Bummer, when I ordered mine they told me 6-8weeks and it was really close to that, maybe 7 weeks with logistics.

I bet they have plant maintenance going on over later part of Dec and early Jan. Most manufacturers do their plant maintenance over the holidays and ten to create a 3-4 week delay in production.

Hummm...I need to order my ARE cap next week. MX (midrise) in Shelter Green Metallic. Was hoping for the 6 to 8 weeks but sounds like it might be longer.

Mine probably would have been 6-8 weeks but the holidays got in the way. With most types of RV and camper sales being down I would expect them not to be backed up too much.

Just for kicks I just called them and it's expected Jan 12 which is right at 9 weeks.
