6th gen Ranger’s competition?

Nissan just unveiled their 3rd gen Frontier today. A respectable redesign with class leading 310HP. It will also be offered with two cab and two bed configurations.

The one thing I hope Ford does with this next gen Ranger is offer multiple cab/bed configurations! While the 5th gen might be lacking these due to being a carryover from the T6 global truck, an all new truck for the NA market really needs more choices in configurations.

A SuperCrew/longbed with a Tremor package would be the ultimate factory base overland rig. I hope Ford nails this next gen.... my ‘02 F-150 Lariat SuperCrew is really starting to show some wear.

I agree. The new Frontier looks like a solid update. I also hope Ford gives more cab and bed choices for the next Ranger. A SuperCrew with a long bed would be great for people who need space and want to go off-road. The Tremor package would make it even better. My old truck is also getting tired, so I’m waiting to see what Ford does next.

Looks like Nissan dropped the Frontier extended cab starting in '26.
