First, YES, I know I should have measured first. BUT, the Ford Accessories website states a fit for the 2024 Ranger. I cut the required 7" off my tailpipe to find that there is no way this part slips over or into the existing exhaust. Tailpipe OD is 3.14", ID is 3.06". Tip OD is 3.08" ID is 2.98". Of course Customer Service is closed now.

Can't get the link to work. But from the description it looks like that's for a 2019 - 2022 Ranger.

Have you tried a sleeve and some clamps?

Try auto zone. There are all kinds of adapters.

I ordered this too from the Ford Performance page and it is listed for the 2024s. I test fit before cutting and same story. I also have a 2022 still in the garage and post muffler is different. Needless to say, it went back. Pretty poor homework being done by FP to not realize there is a difference.

I have to ask. When one pulls up the link you mentioned, there is like 4 places where the listing does not extend to 2024 and the one place it does, did it seem strange to not question it?

Time to straight pipe it. The listing is super all over the place with what it does fit. Ford isnt to blame here as you should of checked. Just wait for a new cat back.

Nope. You’re absolutely right. I goofed. But I also think it’s reasonable to expect Ford to know what does/does not fit each model year.
I did call them and report the issue. They’re going to update their documentation and the website so hopefully save someone else the trouble.
