I am with you. And so do I, want to be able to use them on the road during poor visibility but I don’t want to get arrested for blinding someone. California is crazy on the laws.The light choices they give have a driving/fog combo version, but neither are SAE compliant.
I'm not sure it matters for most people, because if they're like me, they use the lights mostly in low visibility conditions.
