Advice on repairing damage on door

A 1” stone was thrown by a lawn mower blade against the door of my Oxford white ranger recently. Anyone have advice for repair that I can do myself with a touch up kit? The paint has chipped in a few small places down to the metal. Seems like I could do the touch up myself but but don’t want to make it worse. Any advice on touch up kit manufacturers?

I think it all depends on how good you want it to look and how much time or money you are willing to spend on it. Touch up paint will certainly hide it, but it will certainly protect it from the elements. After that, the sky is the limit... You could potentially use touchup paint, then color sand and polish to make it blend in better.

The paint on these new trucks is paper thin, I have yet to touch anything up but I have quite a few large scratches after one year and 28k miles. Way more paint missing than my '02 ever lost in 20 years. Frustrating, but I'm about to ask my body shop guy the best way to keep up with the paint. I had considered a wrap to increase the durability but was unsure how invasive the process would be on a new vehicle.

I'll follow up when I have some tips.
