Just installed Katzkins Heated and Air Conditioned Seats in 2024 Ranger Raptor !

Couple extra shots now that I’m home. They work great as it’s 90 today in Tampa.

Seat upgrade looks sweet. The addition of AC is a great idea. High of 99 coming up here Monday in GA so I can definitely see the value of having AC seats on our RR!

$3500 installed. Ac/Heat on both front seats. Same material and design in rear seats w/o AC or Heat.

Cooled seats (ventilated seats) have blowers that pull ambient air (usually from underneath the seats) and blow it up through the seats. There is no such thing as air conditioned seats.

Yes, has its own AC/Heat unit for each seat. Katzkins Degreez unit. Two way switch on seat controls Heat&AC. Does not interface with OEM Heat.

There is no such thing as air conditioned seats.

Rivian has ac plumbed to the seats. Cold air comes through when its on.

Love it when people who don’t know shit make such comments. The unit does actually cool the air up to 15 degrees lower than drawn in air temperature. So it’s not just ventilation as you claim.

There actually are “air conditioned” seats that cool the air going through the seats.

They typically use a peltier device to cool the air which dumps a considerable amount of heat in the area behind the seats.

I have no idea how well they work at cooling, but they heat up the rear passengers in a hurry if there is anyone back there.
