American Adventure Lab Dash Mount installed

Purchased the AAL dash mount to try and mount my phone and GMRS handheld below the sight line of the dash. Thought I’d give it a try.

couple of tips:
Just buy black hardware. There is no shiny sliver anywhere in the interior so having some there wasn’t in the cards.
Chase the mounting holes with a tap. The powder coating is nice and thick and there’s no chance you’re just running those bolt in.

I love mine, I’ve got just an iPad mount there for now but it’s nice to have some room for expansion.

I have my ipad mounted there and went with rugged's gmrs kit which sits just below it. I have not been on another trip to see how I like it but hoping to get that checked off this weekend.
